Longandwrong when Nick Trew released an RNS in Sept saying they were negotiating with the General I can't remember you demanding to know how he was going to fund it? I also think if Richard was trying to hide his identity he'd pick a better username than Richieboy lol. The EGM doesn't even have a date yet give people time to lay out their case either way. To get the 50% to kick out Nick and Henry will be a tall order unless positions and the way forwaRd is made clear to shareholders.

Goldminer well in that scenario we wouldn't be any worse off than we have been with Nick Trew for the last 7 years... We wouldnt have the asset which is no different to the current situation.

Goldminer I could post to you a framework agreement tomorrow and legally claim that I've presented one to you. When you receive it you probably just bin it but technically I wouldn't be lying to say I'd presented an agreement to you. It was bizarre reading people posting last week about the negotiations being at a sensitive stage totally ignoring the last RNS that the board were forced to issue saying no negotiations are currently happening... some people on here need a reality check.

TheRealist personally I tend to stay away from this BB as it averages less than one post a day and the typical poster is completely clueless. L&W I think the run to 2p was more to do with corrupt Brokers/MM's flipping the placing shares rather than Align. Isn't it funny the first RNS to mention talks with the General also had the news that one of the two remaining appeals in the Moz courts had been rejected... A few weeks ago people were saying don't rock the boat as negotiations are reaching the end (well technically they were right since they were over) How anyone supports the BOD after the last RNS where an external party forced them to tell the truth to PI's I'll never understand (but there is one born every minute especially on AIM) I bet you're even happy with the 50% fall as it let's you 'average down' more Lol.

Even if Align end up mugging us off and losing PI'S money that's no worse than Nick and Henry have been doing for years anyway... but feel free keep supporting those that don't give a toss about you as long as they get paid at the end of the day.

Long and wrong. Maybe today's RNS was in response to Align asking for an update/progress to be shown. But either way it had been months and an update was due at some point. Today's drop may be to people that got in at the 1-2p run up in anticipation of a quick win that they could cash in. And after today's RNS feel that there's no quick end in sight (any long term holder could have told them that lol). Also the fact that negotitions are still dragging on after months doesn't inspire confidence (ok its better than them collapsing and every one walking away)

As you say TheRealist often I am abit brash in my choice of words and I do apologise since I know at the end of the day most people are just trying to do their best for themselves and their families. My frustration at certain things just got the better of me, and not that I tend to post alot but in the future I will try to get my point across in a more civil manner.

That seems to cover most of you. 1. Align need 10% (I think) of shareholders to vote for an EGM so u less they've spoken to other larger holders it's unlikely to be triggered. 2. Even if there was an EGM again enough shareholders would need to vote to get rid of Nick to kick him out. 3. Align may or may not want rid of Nick, or may just be trying to pressure some action from the BOD to justify their wages. 4. The reason Aim is such a cesspit is mindless sheep like you lot who stick up for management even when they achieve nothing. They know they can do what they want and face no consequences. Just keep pocketing money for old rope and never lose their job because the mindless masses just roll over and take it. If Align want to be proactive in their investments and actually expect/demand performance good on them maybe if more Aim investors took that view it wouldn't be such a casino.

Its been months since the General got sent paperwork how hard is it to say negotiatons are ongoing or that they'be failed. Until the licence is returned no I don't think you can say Trews doing a terrific job (also let's not forget under who's watch they were originally nicked) This has been allowed to drag on for too long and someone (either Nick or the General) needs a kick up the arse.

Why are you muppets getting so upset? Whoever bought/sold probably had a good reason beyond what you think. Either closing a short or getting a tax writeoff for the year (or a dozen other reasons I can't think of) And worst case it's just some dunce who didn't read the RNS's and lost 2.5k it's not exactly the end of the world and worse happens on AIM everyday.

Messy I think you have to make up better rumours mate :) Other than the fact the SP is down there's only been about £8k worth of shares traded all day (mostly sells) P.s Although if you're right I'll treat you to an all you can eat Chinese buffet

Longandwrong you've been around AIM shares long enough to know chances are it won't be suspended since no one cares about orderly markets. I've seen share up 1000% in a day before someone thought to issue a halt to things and even then it was trading again the next day (after crashing 80% back down). Also £50million mcap is never happening as when we last had that we also had £11 million in the bank and were ready to get the mining started. If we get the licence back we have no cash and will need fundraising (that will be reflected in the mcap and in my opinion whilst it could spike higher on the day about £10 million is the best we could hope for before funding is resolved)

The Generals had the agreement for 3 months now. He doesn't seem to be in a rush to sign it...Oh well I guess it will come or it won't.

But at the end of the day Jester if poorly run businesses go under the so what? The point of capitalism is the inefficient companies fail and others pick up the pieces/innovate new stronger companies. All shorting does is highlight the weak (ps I personally don't and never will short a share)

Dino the all time high was £80 million and that was when the company had millions in the bank and ready to go to progress the project. If we just got given the asset back tomorrow we wouldn't be at 80 again and that's ignoring whatever cut/payoff the General gets as part of the deal. The increase in shares doesn't mean we should have a higher mcap it just means you'll get less per share for any given mcap. (So dilution reduces the upside hence why when you say 60 or 75 bagger it has no chance of happening)

Dino don't be an idiot making numbers up that'd be £150million mcap which isn't happening in 100 years.By the time the local rep gets his 25% and the General gets his pound of flesh (and probable further dilution to raise a few million) we'll be lucky to get to 5p

So to summarise you want to sell out but you must want more than 2p since you could have got out around there next week?. You also think any spike on news won't be able to be sold into and will fall totally back... Unless you're one of the people locked in from before the asset was nicked (whom I have sympathy for) might I suggest that Aim and maybe trading in general isn't for you?

Messy if you think this share is corrupt and even Nick Trew is in on it why on earth don't you sell up and move on? You moan every time the price rises. Aim is a market people are allowed to buy/sell and trade and SP's fluctuate over time. If you don't like it buy fixed rate bonds or leave your money in the bank.

Oh great just in time to possibly ruin Christmas (depending on the contents). People who were in Oxus gold or Churchill mining could tell you news released around Christmas is more likely to be from the Grinch than Santa lol. I guess time will tell which one the General will be dressing up as this year..
