RE: Money returning to Pharma15 Sep 2024 08:25
For Sunday, and in particular anyone new looking in after last week's activity, below is the link to the presentation Vlad gave at the Innovators' Pitch in Boston, September 2023 which essentially relates to CBRs and BMEs, that derive from their CBR platform.

The status of CBR then (Sep 2023) was
Product Candidates:
CBR
• Ebola, Marburg (Filoviridae family) – POC in vitro using synthetic non-replicating virus.
• SARS-CoV-2 (Coronaviridae family) – POC in vitro using synthetic non-replicating virus; BSL3 for replicating virus in works.
• Influenza A, B (Orthomyxoviridae family) – POC in works.
• HSC-derived CBR-programmed microglia for glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). {brain cancer}
BME
• Ebola and Marburg (Filoviridae family) – POC in vitro using synthetic non-replicating virus.
• Venezuelan and Western Equine Encephalitis (Alpha viruses) – POC in works (designed).
• Nipah and Hendra (Paramyxoviridae family) – POC in works (designed).
• Lassa (Arenaviridae family) – POC in works (designed).
• Influenza A, B (Orthomyxoviridae family) – POC in works (designed).
• SARS-CoV-2 (Coronaviridae family) – POC in vitro using synthetic non-replicating virus.
Summary
• A novel proprietary technology.
• Proof of Concept has been established
• Directly applicable to the US Department of Defense and HHS objectives.
• Technology is ready for translational science to develop and test products.
• BAIT Biotechnology has the facility and people to execute a program
In the pitch, Bait Biotechnology was referred to as a spin out company for CBR. Since then there have been no further details (that I am aware of) on Bait Biotechnology to know if that is still part of the plan, there was no mention of it in the 2023 Annual Report or in the PBSE to the annual report.
We are a year on from that. During that time we know testing was being carried out in a government related BSL-3 laboratory.
Hemogenyx will be presenting on their CBR platform at two forthcoming conferences:
Oct 1 - 3 at the 6th Macrophage-Directed Therapies Summit - where the presentation will feature the use of CBR for treatment of rare cancers.
Dec 2 - 5 at the 2024 Chemical and Biological Defence Science & Technology (CBD S&T) Conference - where the presentation will feature the use of CBR for combatting viral infections - on which Vlad commented that it will "provide the Company with an opportunity to further establish its unique position in the rapidly evolving field of biodefense".
In addition, there is HEMO CAR-T in the process of going into clinical trials with MD Anderson Cancer Centre (awaiting selection and treatment of the very first patient) and then UPenn.
And don't forget the recent announcement of a new and improved version of HEMO's bispecific antibody, CDX, for potential use against (i) AML, (ii) a sub-set of ALL and (iii) conditioning for bone marrow tr
