With regard to the clinical trial starting - so you don't get the impression from the way things have been communicated recently (ie unable to disclose names due to signed agreements) that someone has underwritten the first clinical site's costs of at least getting the first few patients through the trial, thus allowing the clinical trial to start recruitment? Unless of course Hemo had those monies already set-aside/paid up front for that. Perhaps they may still need to raise working capital for next six months.

The last sentence is clear - Vlad has a much bigger vision for Hemo.

But who is going to run it? - I would consider that the current board seems far too limited/stretched for where the company now is. Several of the board are involved in other ventures. Why have additional (or replacement) appointments not been made before now? Has another entity already been lined up? The company is very lean - to me that makes it attractive to an acquiror, as it would basically be the scientific team and knowhow. Will we see new board appointments made in the near future (possibly from the existing scientific team) if Hemo intends to expand further, on its own?

The first paper from 2023 reports the results of testing/ clinical phase 1 trial of this ultra-fast car-t manufacturing using Kure:

The second paper presented at ASH December 2024 (Vlad in attendance) seems to be an update including further data results:

So it transpires, this ultra-fast manufacturing process, that Hemo is engaging with in testing for HG-CT-1, has already been shown to work for CAR-T treatment for NHL. If this works for HG-CT-1, this should significantly speed up Hemo's clinical trials.

From the last video interview (prior to today's announcement of ultra fast manufacturing with Kure.ai):

"Typically, this process takes two, three weeks. This is too long and too expensive and that's why there are several companies and there are several research groups that are trying to make this process much faster. And it looks like we may have a chance to participate in this development and ultimately, make sure that our own CAR-T is manufactured much faster than we can do it today. And ultimately we're targeting one day manufacturing. It's too early to report anything at this point, but we may have a chance to partner with one of the entities who are doing such manufacturing. And if that happens, then we basically, WE'LL GET TO THE NEXT LEVEL of CAR-T delivery and then potentially be able to deliver this treatment for a much broader audience, people who need such treatment."

CAR-T is becoming mainstream.

Mostly very technical, but Section 10 considers the need for Novel Therapeutic approaches, and starts:

"Successive clinical trials have shown that we are approaching the limit of intensification for conventional chemotherapy. Given the short and long-term sequelae of intensive chemotherapy and HSCT, less toxic innovative strategies are needed to improve outcome for KMT2A-rearranged ALL. Insight from extensive global preclinical efforts has led to investigation of novel therapeutic agents in clinical trials"

Within these, Sub-section 10.1 refers to FLT3 inhibitors, and therefore FLT3 as a possible target; and Sub-section 10.3 references CAR-T as an approach. HG-CT-1 seems to have potential to help patients with this as well as AML patients.

Isn't this just showing us that there is a big future for CAR-T? The biggest hurdle to its acceptance so far (once CRS was able to be managed better) has been cost due to timeliness of the process - that is all changing/or has in some cases already changed.

If HG-CT-1 proves successful in trials today's announcement suggests that there will be an achievable marketable outlet for it - for the benefit of many many people.

Subhush, my concern is that the warrants may be priced not that far above the new issue share price, which may help to stifle/limit the share price upside for a further while, until the warrants are cleared. See what has happened to Briacell Therapeutics since Prevail got involved - SP down approx 90%; then a new fund raise this week at a new low SP (approx 25% discount), with warrants exercise price actually below the SP at close of the day prior to the issue - links to Canada, sounds all too familiar?

Just in case you were not aware, HEMO already has a strong connection with Seidman Cancer Centre through its Medical Adviser, Dr. Koen van Besien. His involvement would be very fitting as he was the person who advised Vlad that the research work he was doing appeared to have applications for AML and that he should research that aspect further, which led to CDX/HEMO CAR-T:

I remember them reporting some breakthrough in reduced manufacturing times shortly after he started there. In true Hemo style van Besien's bio on Hemo's website makes no mention of his leading role at UH Seidman Cancer Centre.

Any thoughts on the east usa reference for the addition of a second clinical trial site (because the way Vlad referred to it, it seemed a new development/possibility, other than UPenn) - could it be Kimmel Cancer Centre at John Hopkins, Baltimore?

I could see little reason for yesterday's video release, given that they'd given an update a week or so prior - that is, other than the board knew this sell-off would be coming and it was an attempt to reassure shareholders??

What little trust there was has gone - it's a shame for the scientists.

On this board, when we were discussing the possibility of PIPE funding previously, I think we came across some arrangements where new entrants were subject to some form of lock-in period. I guess if they get true investors on board in the first place they will not be selling anyway. The Board Adviser and Prevail have had plenty of time to establish interested parties and we have now reached the start of clinical trials.

As Vlad said in the last video: "we are actually there".

And looking further ahead (though the moment they star patient recruitment 'everything will speed up tremendously'), he also mentioned about them talking to big pharmaceutical companies interested in HEMO-CAR-T - potential joint venture or investment partners further down the line - such companies will need clinical data results first (but interesting that they were mentioned in plural).

several references to 'discount to prevailing share price' when i think what is relevant in this situation of courting institutional investors is 'discount to the prevailing fair value' - sp angel valued hemo in their may 2024 broker update note that was never published on the website at 6.3p after a very conservative discount of 20% for not having started clinical trial (8p per share fair value). so 6 months later - seemingly all hurdles to clinical trial clear, further advances in cdx and a breakthrough in cbr and you'd have to think fair value was greater than 8p in current terms, and apply a discount from there.

Around 38% of ISC voted (that's treble the number for the AGM) and an overwhelming >90% votes cast in favour of all resolutions. It seems that the board were able to influence an increased turn out for this, and investors supportive of the board's plans, though presumably have to include Prevail in there too.

I voted in favour, as I would like to see the HEMO story unfold further, and I hope now that it gets the chance to - and maybe, by working with nature, they will have a solution to one or more of the afflictions they are targeting.

Interesting that you seem to have a contrasting viewpoint, PI. Did you vote, and if so for or against?

Great news: it sounds like they may have near-term plans scale up of the development and testing of CBR quite quickly then; in addition to HG-CT-1 trials which people seem to have been blinkered on. Will there be some early stage co-investors for CBR too I wonder? Are there still plans to spin it out into a separate company, or will this capital expansion afford the opportunity to pushed that back until development is further down the line and hopefully more valuable. Exciting times ahead.
