Good morning, after reading the many good posts on here during the past few days, I have a couple of thoughts to put to you.
Firstly there has been talk of what the company will have in the bank but what if the offer of the dividend is not fully taken up? Folk on here have a said they will be selling before the ex dividend and there has been some selling already.
Secondly the dividend payment in unique, in so much it is not the normal 10% or less of the SP. So how can we pre judge that the SP will be reduced by 42.75p as some on here would have you believe. The influx of the cash pile had little effect on the SP , in fact over days it reduced and the MC was at a big discount to the cash in the bank. on the announcement of the dividend the SP was around 36p and shot up by around 18p to 54p ish. So my question is how can you take away 42.75p when it was never put on the SP to start with? Since Friday morning the SP has been all over the place and the amount of buying, with some showing as red ,is the market keeping a reign on the SP to limit what might happen ex dividend. I think that the SP should be reduced by 18p but there again I may be a mile out.
I have been in this game for a long time but I have never come across a dividend that was bigger than the SP. Please consider my thoughts and feel free to trash them if you wish, I will not be offended,
Good evening, just caught up with all your comments. A very mixed bag and at the end of the day, no one actually knows what the sp will be pre/post ex dividend. One thing the sp acted negatively to the incoming cash pile. As I said this morning I will take the 42.75p which gives me a very nice profit and start again with my shares at nil value after wx dividend and so any Increase after 0p is profit. I am very confident that the events of the last couple of weeks have convinced me that our BOD will have something very big up their sleeve. I am therefore looking forward to a rapid rise in the MC into the first quarter of next year.GL to all and ignore the sour grapes posters.
Good morning all.I have listened to all the negative comments put on this BB by posters holding RMS and I have put my thoughts forward.
It is time to move forward and give my thoughts. Firstly i will bank 42.75p per share, which shows a substsntial profit on my investment. I do not intend to sell any shares, as my holdings are now all freebies, so any increase in the SP above 0p is now profit. My expectations after the drop following ex dividend, is for the MC to climb to £110/12m in the short term, unless the BOD pull another rabbit out of the hat abd in that case, game on.GL to all genuine holders here and also those at RMSm
Its clear your not invested and it is just sour grapes from yet another person who hides behind a typewriter. I was invested in RMS and sold out at a higher price than BRH, yet I do not come on your BB and state my reasons for doing so. You would be well served by concentrating on what lies ahead for RMS instead of preaching the gospel according to you about BRH. I wish you well with your investments.
Good evening gents should not be talking about BRH on hete, so I will make it quick. Firstly you are right if you buy now you will be picking up a stock with plenty of value going forward for around 12p. I believe there will be plenty of upside ex dividend.
Ok back to PRD I think this will be huge and I suggested Haha had a good look. Just quickly back to BRH I will have a biggish dividend and as i am well into profit I will kerp all my shares as freebies.
Back on the 14th November I posted that I was putting my shares in the bottom drawer and would concentrate on BRH with a view to raising a large sum to enable me to make a large top up here ,on top of my weekly one. BRH. has delivered today and as soon as I get the special dividend ,I will be having another large slice of this. GL
Jarv fair question and as I have been here for some time it's difficult to answer. What I will say is that ever since we got the cash pile the SP has gone down.i will hang on to my shares as I believe that the BOD have something big up their sleeves to counteract the ex dividend. Of course I am not a financial advisor but will be happy to hold my shares at this level of SP as without news I am not expecting a huge drop ex dividend As for RMS I sold my shares for more than BRH got and at the moment I am not looking to reinvest. GL
I see Jarv 55 and his fellow derampers don't give up do they. I am very happy with my dividend all protected against tax. I have not only got lots of profit, I will have lots of free shares for our exciting portfolio.
