My steak & kidney pie and 'JW'29 Aug 2015 08:41
Always promised myself I'd do this. So today, I'm doing a classic Steak & Kidney pie.
4lbs (2Kg) of beef chunks, 3/4lb of Ox kidney, pint of dark ale, mustard, Worcester sauce, stock and ...so on. Followed by a 'Summer pudding' and cream.
Kids and their other halves are coming round today for a late lunch, eating out side (hopefully !)
As for Justin Waite. He bought in @79p (so, he says, though I suspect he bought earlier and for less).
Working by the rules of the play and the discipline he clearly demonstrated with AF*O, he has to
stay with it until he 'doubles' (1.58 at least). Personally I've invested more heavily early on and will lighten my investment as we go. I believe the greatest gains are to be made early on.
Once more and more people join in, the premium will shoot up before you get a look in. Very much reminds me of the Simon Thompson (I/C) method, where the SP would open 10 or 20% up, the MM's read the tips as well and will have their stalls set up first thing, to catch the buyers.
I'm also pretty sure that I won't be following the rules too strictly.
1) May stay with the stock beyond JW's target.
2) May sell, then look for an opportunity to buy back in, why give up on a perfectly good share if there's still more upside.
All the best Hugh.
