Bamps, many thanks for the reassurance over the Havieron environmental study findings, a topic that is never going to be in the fore until reality dawns for those invested in projects that are unlucky enough to be invested a project in more ecologically or environmentally sensitive region. Or simply unlucky enough where an isolated population of a protected species has made its home due to ideal localised habitat.

As for Winu future it’s a difficult hurdle to overcome, it’s hardly ever the case where a species is rehomed or moved on. In the uk, Natural England would have SSSI status slapped on an area of similar significance. They may have to have a rethink on how they are going to commercialise it.

Must be due news on updates on many other fronts so could reasonably conclude that commencement on small scale mining is not a given in that respect. Do appreciate it would be normal practice but it is hardly price sensitive information and they would be foolish to try and push it on its own as means of trying to rally the share price. I can’t see it would be taken seriously in that respect either.

Unless of course they haven’t started mining yet as it involves xtr throwing US200k at it depending on their assessment. Although, on totting up to the total spend commitment {subject to results} of US2.7m it appears there is a commitment in that respect to do so so who knows.

Hi Bamps interesting one on the night parrots. To recall back around the time shortly after the Admission doc was released i highlighted from it, the risks the Night Parrot may have on hampering permitting for Hav development and was not taken seriously.

These ecological and environmental challenges over not only fauna, but flora too, are very real major hurdles to overcome in getting permissions in place. Australia has some of the most stringent legislation in the world to protect the environment and just goes to show the seriousness that companies have take in their responsibilities on ESG compliance.

On timeframes they gave 9 months to production from the 6 months to start of mining.

So if they have started mining by now it will take them a few months before processing will commence on site with basic equipment, so any payback on start up costs will not likely start coming back to the company until end of Q4 into next year even.

Hope to see Copper becoming less ‘seen’ as being just supplementary as well as Cobalt and Nickel in a more diversified suite of projects.

Certainly if near surface sulphides are being scoped at Camp Dome could it indicate they are looking for that all important high grade parcel as an economic kickstart for a starter mine toward a full on operation?

Was listening to a old podcast from ‘22 is a really good listen back, one comment from Shaun struck out,

Certainly not seen this happening yet, but implications would be huge would they not and how likely is that to happen now?

As for the JV to develop the Moz mine in the first place, that is a different matter. Don’t stump up any capital toward plant and you don’t get to dictate unrealistic terms, essentially the same reason it was off loaded ironically.

Colin was asked previously about concerns of a low ball hostile takeover, his reply was that junior explorers don’t tend to get taken over. Having looked into this myself previously I would tend to agree as could not find any examples of such. Too messy with no way of mitigating risk involved in exploration. Nature of the beast.

I was mistakingly referring to phase 2 as the ramp up to 450t per day throughput rate. The company refers to phase 2 on commissioning with the inclusion of the flotation circuit by year end of course.

Should see a smooth quick re start as gravity circuit has already gone through its lock up stage where gold particles get trapped in all the nooks and crannies of the new equipment. Phase 2 flotation will see recoveries reach 95% up from around 80% through gravity from a consistently blended head grade of 14-15gt/Au

Is a nice reminder of production rate if the plant operates as expected which doesn’t take much to work out yield against today’s gold price. Ramping up to 450t per day with addition of further flotation and mill soon after it is hoped and without need for a feasibility study either. The key question then, will be around any downtime with the further installation. With the new modular design plant I would say this will be kept to a minimum.

Delivering phase 2 ahead of previous forecast will be achieved soon enough after completion of phase 1 by end of year. The real driver here if you do the maths on just phase 1 looking at the ore grade/mine rate, literally going to be printing money upon on commercial production.

‘24 was defining for the strategic minerals exploration. With what they learned were able to sharpen the focus on the most promising for the ’25 campaign recently started giving them the confidence to deploy rigs to scout drill in a more targeted reconnaissance and resource definition phase this year with the exception of Nanoq and Nalunaq of course well into resource development.

This years results will no doubt start to show the true value of the Gardaq JV where projects will then see more firm targeted resource drilling in ‘26 with every drill core giving increasing data and understanding of ore bodies now the hard bit in discovery has generally been done to maybe focus growth on 3 or 4 best options stated as such by Eddie wyvill I think it was in a previous podcast. A sensible strategy for growth so they don’t get too bogged down with projects if is still the idea.

The juniors are certainly starting to show signs of improving beyond from just green shoots of recovery now. Colin does have a responsibility after all, to his larger stakeholders to create shareholder value even it is believed that is not the case toward smaller investors that many may believe to be the case.

The old dog knows what he’s doing and I’m sure whatever and importantly whenever it is, it’s in our interests overall. Even if that means for the immediate future he can turn his back on the capital markets with surplus income over spending commitments, of which is bitter sweet of course. I’m aiming my expectations of PR on a middle ground.
