Laverda, I was addressing the general point rather than a particular one.

I will read through the conversation in detail later but I wasn't calling you out on anything with my post.

I think a lot of people get branded as rampers or derampers unfairly. For me a ramper is someone who has nothing but good to say about a stock whilst they are invested, right up until the point where they sell up and they turn the other way. Vice Versa for derampers. We've all come across them. I am generally positive and I only buy a stock because I think there is money to be made so most of what I say will be pro-company. But at the same time I'll call out where I think something isn't quite right.

Then you have the posters who never have anything good to say about a particular stock, I imagine because they got badly burnt, don't like the industries that certain companies work in (O&G, Mining etc) or crying NIMBY.

The trick is working out who to listen to on all sides! You might not like what someone has to say but it sometimes makes sense to listen!

And lets not forget that we get the extra whammy of the hedge coming to an end and ALL production providing profit for ANGS. A little matter of 29 months to go but it'll be here before we know it.

But doubling flow at this stage should have a far greater impact than double the SP.

Ignore him/her folks. Not heard a bean for months with the flow rates doing their job and then all of a sudden, a setback and off they go again.

They can regurgitate all the stuff from years back but the sidetrack is a couple of weeks away. Sit tight and what will be will be.

If it doesn't work, stick 'em on the back burner and just hope BOIL explodes!

You really are wasting your time mate. WG has nothing positive to say, ever. I really wouldn't bother yourself trying to get any sense or reasoned debate because it's not possible. There's is always some other failure by a different company 10 years ago that can be trawled out

And quite a lot of people will be happy with their level of profit and have taken it off the table. A spike like this will always attract sellers as well as buyers.

Has become increasingly toxic. The last 3 or 4 days have consisted of nothing but bickering.

The RNS last week was not what we (most of us) wanted but we have to wait another week or so for further progress updates. The gas is still down there (despite what some ludicrous posts have suggested) so it's just a case of getting it out of the ground more quickly so we can more than offset the hedge. If the sidetrack is unsuccessful once more, just stick your shares in a draw for a couple of years, until the hedge runs out or other projects arise (Brockham anyone?).

But in the meantime let's accept that WG hates Angus, Mr008 is slightly deranged, Push is positive on the prospects, Sageman needs to move his bed away from the wall so he can get out of the otherside and Mirasol has vanished into thin air!

Just agree to disagree and wait until the next results is my suggestion.

We a number of seemingly viable suitors for Chuditch:

Shell (Will they want their ball back?)
ENI (Becoming active in other gas plays and also have the licence next door)
Kuwait (as shared by Filthy in the 'Trade Invest' thread. Discussing other infra projects in TL but is it a means to an end?)
Plus the mention of other Explorers and NOC's looking to secure their energy security!

Lots to ponder and if we can get a couple of these that develop serious interest, who knows!?
