In response to Bazzaman's point about not selling (if you don't want/have to). I read an article about Philip King (ex Maquarie Bank and now Regal Funds who appear to be holding a 0.52% short position) and came across this quote about GameStop back in 2021:

When hedge funds decided to short the stock, retail investors, many of whom were roused to action by their presence on social media news aggregation platform Reddit, banded together and won.

It would appear that the combined resistance to sell can indeed work. I'm certainly not selling until the fundamentals change.

I've just read a few of your posts and just can't get beyond the language and vitriol you employ. You've posted twice here and have, quite clearly, nothing to offer.

So with two diametrically opposed statements on the short position, where does the truth lie? Increased as per T1967 or reduced/closed as others have written? That's one of the problems with these open forums. It's difficult to know what and who to believe. Many investors, such as me, just can't access the source data to establish the facts.

The RNS issued by Faron, this morning regarding the exercising of share rights at E1.895 per share doesn't appear on this platform (yet). People with more knowledge and insight than me can comment on it!

Edzi, whilst I agree with a lot of what you write and, like you, I get rather fed up and annoyed that people who aren't in possession of the data and information, throw out speculative expectations of resources, costs and other fundamentals that play into the SP. Just leave it to Rome and be patient is my philosophy. However, I would take issue with your assertion that some people sold because they were disappointed. You may or may not have done, but you have no idea of why others might sell. Everyone has their own strategies and reasons for selling, buying and holding. Again, speculation is pointless and, as you write ‘How can you say that without the facts’. (sic).

As Rick Rule often says, the likely success of a venture on this space is, primarily, about the people who are leading it and who they bring on board to assist with the delivery. Like you, the team have instilled in me a high level of confidence and I won't be selling any shares anytime yet. Always under review, but nothing to date has altered my reasons for holding since I invested in November 2024 and in January 2025. It's going to be an interesting time ahead.

Bigmj - That should be an interesting couple of hours. To have access to such people is always fascinating and it's often what the don't say that can be revealing.

D. Although such a drop in SP may be unwarranted in your opinion, I do understand it. The RNS on 30th July stated that kiln 2 would be up and running by the end of Q3/early Q4. Now they're saying it'll be 'in the coming months'. The loan from the Zambian Bank is dependent upon a consistent volume of daily production (they haven't told us what that is), but I suspect it will need at least two kilns in production to achieve this. That's the frustration.

Seems to me they've just put out the RNS for the sake of it. No real progress and it tells us nothing more than we already know. I would like to see a proper timeline for the commissioning of the seven kilns that aren't currently operational. I would have expected the second kiln, at least, to be on line now. The new sales person is a step in the right direction, I suppose, as they'll be there to increase sales in order to justify the expense of bringing the other kilns on line. As you write, F, frustrating.

Thank you all, so far, for a greater insight into the variables and likely increased profitability of GGP when Havieron comes on line. The comments posted throw up many more questions and that’s the wonderful thing about the learning process. I’ll digest what’s been offered, thus far, and take it all on board. I’m definitely going to get myself, one day, to a meet.

PS. I really need to get to one of the meets to mine the minds of those with great knowledge about such things. My skills lie in the world of property and this is a very steep learning curve for me!

Forgive me for what might be a dumb question (if you don’t ask……), but at 10m.25s. into SD’s presentation, he says the ore grade at Havieron is better by a factor of five to what they’re currently processing from Telfer. Does this mean that, when Havieron ore starts being processed through the mill, the profit for each ton of ore processed jumps five-fold? If so, that’s phenomenal.

Why bother referencing the 29k? as MM says, they're just putting their finger in the air. Pointless (as are many of their posts, telling us how many shares they've bought etc.) Apologies, that one's been bubbling for a while. I won't see the reply as the green 'bin has just been opened for MM.

Such a good and interesting read, TT. Thank you. A lot of what's written can be seen to apply to GGP. The advice, not to keep looking at the SP, is a good take away if you've invested for the medium to long term.

I love the fact that RV gets out in the field to explain what they're up to, the process they testing/evaluating and how it's an important

next step to develop the project. Every time I hear him speak, whether it be in interviews or these vignettes, it give me more confidence in what we, potentially, have here. Looking forward to the next six months' news flow.
