Thank you, much appreciated.
Cityboy64, can you please advise if you have any success.
In addition to all the secure mails my broker has told me in the latest communication the share certificates appear to have been sent to me by 1st class Royal Mail and can't be traced. Mmmm, that does not seem to be an acceptable procedure from a financial institution. Thank you for all your comments
Hi Rainbow, thanks for your positive reply. I know what you are saying but when your Broker tells you they have sent you the certificate in your name, as they are right to do when a company goes private, but the certificate does not turn up, what happens then? Yes, I have a paper trail of procurement etc, but there is no mention now of FRR in my account. Computershare are clueless, FFR still incognito, I am getting a Broker change yet again and later this year, there will be no more paper certificates issued anywhere anyway. All I can hope for is FRR have a record of my holding and if they do relist they will contact everybody including Computershare to have things re-instated (fat chance of that imo). As a matter of interest, are your FRR shares still showing in your Broker account? Anyway, keep taking the tablets, you have been and still are a real tonic on this board..... :)
You guys having received certificates:- could you tell me if you received them directly from your Broker, Computershare or FRR please?
Interestingly I received a secure email from my Broker today and they reiterated the certificates had been sent to me and that It may be useful to note the corporate action notification refers to Sefton Resources. (Who are Sefton Resources?) They have also, as a good will gesture returned to me Octobers management fee, ha ha!! All I want to know is, where is my flippin certificate and although nothing may come of FRR there is surely a legal obligation on my Broker, computershare or FRR to provide me with one. They tell me if FRR do relist, I will have to contact computershare and have the shares put back into my Nominee account, how will that work, computershare have been less than useless? I could obviously contact the Ombudsman, but what is my complaint? Who should have sent me the certificates, no evidence of sending them but my Broker says they have been sent, do I really need them, who is legally responsible for sending them out etc etc.
Is most people that have not received their certificates content in the knowledge that should a relist occur, they will be able to square the circle because I am not. Any help, advice would be most appreciated
11.1% up right now
Yes, I had the same email and will have gone full circle. Started with III and moved to Saga who were swallowed up by EQI and now looks like I am going back to III. Hope they all keep their paperwork and my FRR share certificates move with the change of Broker. Like you, I also took copies of periodic statements etc but if and when I need to make any claim you can just see all the brokers blaming each other and I will get nothing due to some technical error or something. I have raised a complaint with EQI because they informed me paper certificates had been posted to me and I have not received them. I have asked for the recorded delivery reference and they are now investigating but the whole situation smacks of gross incompetence.
Something is happening!!
Dave
It was in my ISA electronically on CREST.
Does anyone know where to go for advice and legal position in these matters? I have asked EQI to escalate my request for them to send me my Share Certificates because I really think they are giving me the run around. Kept all correspondence and each reply is different ranging from, they will send me the printed share certificate in my name, they are contacting Frontera Resources, to, the latest where they are basically washing their hands of it.

Many on here have made reference to not receiving their paper share certificates in their name. I thought I would prod my Broker again to see what response I get since any evidence of holdings have been removed from my portfolio and now only sits in previous periodic statements. It would appear they are trying to wash their hands of this but surely as a Broker they have a responsibility to fulfil their duties and that should be to ensure I receive the paper certificates. Annoyingly the following is what they have sent me and we all know how hard it is to pin down Computershare (as they no longer work for Frontera) and Frontera Resources:
Good afternoon,
Thank you for your recent message,
Please note that the shares were sent to you in May 2019. They are now held in your name directly.
If you do not hold the shares you will need to contact Frontera’s registrar to receive new shares as they are recorded in your name.
As the shares were put into your name directly, if they should relist we would not be able to complete any action with them as we are no longer the custodian.
You will need to raise this with the company directly or with the company’s registrar

A/T Stop losses are being hoovered up!!
Does anyone else think it rather suspicious, Zaza went even quieter (not bashing the GG anymore)? I think he has done a deal which covers his share holding losses at least, guaranteed he will be ok through all of this, just my thoughts, hope I am wrong, would dearly love this to come good for all lth, gla
I have been a holder here for years but I do not post very often. I read posts regularly and find it amazing how knowledgeable people are here and wondered if someone had the answers for my situation.
I am concerned my holding has vanished from my portfolio ISA holdings. My broker informs me this has occurred due to the delisting of FRR and therefore the shares can not be held in a ISA wrapper. They then told me over a year ago I would receive a printed share certificate in my name and I am still waiting for it. My Broker recently told me to contact the registrar (Computershare) directly to ask them for the certificate. I did that and they told me they do not act for FRR anymore and could not help me. They advised me to contact the company direct and we all know there will be no response there.
Is there a legal position here, can companies take investors money, delist, go private and never be seen again or would this be a crooked manoeuvre. This really is not a negative spin, I like most are hoping something will come back from this but I would be happier with a share certificate in my hand as opposed to nothing. Could anyone put my mind at rest?
Has all this
