Mathematics ( which someone can check , please ) 268 million shares in issue --- 243 million @ yesterdays closing price of 225 p ( thereabouts ) = £546.75 mill. . 25 million @ 205 p = £51.25 mill. Total = £ 598. million for 268 million shares gives an adjusted SP of around £2.23 p ---so it is cleary well below that adjusted price ---WHY ? Investors did not like INTEL dumping their shares , ? further drops due to Downgrades and Poor results ? -----------------or something else ? ----Any thoughts anyone ------GLA>

25 million ( 9.3 % ) of their holding in IMG thru' Brokers @ 205 p -- --- 8.5 % discount on the previous days close ---hence the drop this morning ----This sort of thing should not be allowed ---the drop previous to today also smacks of somebody somewhere knowing in advance what was about to happen ?? -----

Possibly , but it's a Share Placing and we don't know who the brokers and Intel are going to offer the shares to and at what price ? Apple are currently the 6 th largest share holder with 23 milion-----

In particular , but insurance in general , given a possible re-rate over the next year when motor insurance premiums are said to be going up considerably (15 % ) (shares mag . article today ) -----Carclo given a buy rating and target of 180 p by The Chartist . --- have to check that one myself , as his recomms don't have a high success rate ? ---( caught the Dow for 147 points in total , so happy with that , esp. if IMG and BARC tank tomorrow ) ---- GLA.
