Unvrkw, don't know if you get the lse market report in your emails... I fell of my chair tonight, it had Fox as top riser today, 400% up and sp at 115...disappointed for you that it turned out to be wrong.. GL
That's a lot of shares coming in to the market next week..will depend how the markets view this as to magnitude of any drop
Might have some spare cash today, looking good here iyo?
unvrkw, I'm with you, gonna wait a bit yet. Let's see what happens with all these shares afloat. Big sell there today. Well, if you got them at 50p, thats a 20% return straight away. More to follow I reckon. 40p is a possibility, anything sub placing price I think I'm in. However, all my stocks hammered at the minute, so no funds whatsoever.
Hi mate, still watching, sp dropping before the share admission tomorrow. This share always rose well on very little volume, so obviously now more shares in free float, the gains will be harder to come by. But if I can get a sub 60 price, I'll be tempted. Only problem is I was banking on SULA profits today to possibly put in here, and that's gone a bit pete tong. Will keep watching, and ODX too. All depends on fund availability, you know how it is.
Found it. Not a broker rating, it was an analyst forecast, knew I'd seen something, was posted by liquid1 just after close last night http://markets.ft.com/research/Markets/Tearsheets/Forecasts?s=GRL:LSE
Hi unvrkw , just said they were now going for their second contract after the success of first, they were reducing the % of company owned by the workforce via the placement, and they were up against 2 other companies for the next contract. Also they were confident of winning more contracts in 2014. Nothing we didn't know really, but a positive mention. I assume if iis take the placement, they're looking long term, so won't get a flood of shares on to the market, but you never know, sometimes there is a seller which might bring the sp down a tad, so I'll watch and see.
Nice mention in the ST yesterday I see, but I'm still wary of the 50p placing shares landing in the market on January 9th. Will wait and see how sp reacts to that before deciding entry point.
CICC not for me, too exposed already in mining. ODX looks very interesting though, added to my watchlist. Just got absolutely no spare cash at the minute. Need a big win from one of my miners in January, then we'll see. I've only been at this 3 months - haven't made a bean yet (some individual successes but overall 3k down, mainly due to PLE which I know will be good in the end). Hopefully my liquidity will rise significantly H1 2014 and I can move more into these mid/long termers.
Thanks unvrkw, have waited this long, think I'll watch and see how things develop nearer the 9th Jan. Could be a chance to get in nearer 50p then. They certainly seem well positioned to get some more big contracts next year. I'm in Fox already, punted a few k at 16 a few months back, don't look at it much, happy to leave for a year. Will check out those other two. It's always nice to have some more solid stocks, for want of a better word - to balance up my riskier mining punts. Have you checked out BBOX? Popped a wee bit in there, should be a safe bet with a nice divi too. ATB
Hi unvrkw, just to let you know that I watch this share with a lot of interest and read your posts (in case you feel like you're talking to yourself sometimes). Not invested yet as can't release any funds from anywhere, but am looking for a stock like this in 2014 to balance my pf. SP does seem to move on barely any volume. Do you see this as a good price to buy, or will the placings drop it a bit yet? And what do you think a likely sp by end 2014, given your knowledge of future developments. Won't hold you to it, honest. GL
I can only assume there are a lot of shares still to be sold, so we will have to wait until the issue is fully subscribed before any meaningful trading will occur? It's good that people are slowly catching on and buying in though.
Would be glad to be wrong. Where did you hear that?
