Hi FG, our paths cross again....yes, sounds like there's a good chance that results will be above expectations, so best to get in ahead of that....although I'm hoping this rise isn't all due to results anticipation. No matter, everything reads very positively so let's see what the results bring.
It is a very interesting proposition in that it's not a cure for breast cancer, it contains it so it can be treated with alternative methods. It is the spread of cancer to other organs before or while they are being treated that generally kills people, so this drug could be crucial in the overall battle. They hope to start testing on humans by 2016 and it will be rolled out to treat other cancers like prostate, lung and colon.
Rhines, I'm afraid I don't, so more research needed...
Buys being misreported today...anything around 0.97 upwards today has been a buy according to my dummies...so that's 26 million buys vs 2 million sells...doesn't amount to a heap of beans at this price of course but at least a few people are dipping in.
Hello BG, just rambling away to myself here, didn't think anyone was listening. Noted this story in the ST yesterday which was positive, so had a sniff this morning. Not invested much at all, it's a pure punt for me....some big pi punts, that 10m was a buy imo to go with the 5m.
Having researched a bit more, I've taken a foothold of 300k here and will assess further once the consolidation happens and news flows at the end of April.
Ignore that sp info...sp of consolidated shares on admission will be £0.12p but current sp is only 0.10p, I read it wrong. Still deciding...but someone took 5 million as a punt.
Read an article in yesterday's ST about this so was looking out for something this morning. Obviously very little to go on, but just wondering if it might be worth a small flutter...can buy at 0.10 versus placing price of 0.12p. ST reckoned rto would happen, but it is clearly a punt ... but as we all know, these wonder drug pharmas can return huge gains on the smallest of positive news. I know some people like a more ethical investment so I'm thinking hard...
Agree with you , Julian, a chance to buy in at 25% discount to the floatation price seemed too good to ignore....the very nature of high tech companies means they are, or should not be, for the faint hearted investor....volatility abounds, especially in the early life of such stocks and extreme patience is required. I expect some people will invest here as they expect a guaranteed instant 25% return as this undervalued stock bounces back, but I would urge caution as it is entirely possible that it will take some time to regain the higher ground....expect more volatility in the period leading up to and around the time of the release of final full year results? No doubt this is a risky investment, but if they can get themselves through this "out of the ground" phase and management can demonstrate clear thinking and leadership, then we could be onto a winner, and in very near the bottom for once. Good spot by you yesterday, so thx for the heads up...had my eyes on too many other balls....and don't even think about feeling bad if this doesn't fly...our choice in the end. I only found out about QPP following a nod from someone, it may have been spikey I can't remember, on the Sula board....so when respected posters cough, it's always worth checking it out and making up your own mind......one of the few benefits one gets sometimes from these boards is the odd nugget hidden away amongst all the posturing and nonsense.
Well we can see where it goes from here - seems to be a lot of people thinking the same way as us...doesn't seem like too much downside from here, if there is we can bail but I suspect most of the fall has happened unless something unknown crops up. Better to be in, we can always add if it strengthens.
Aha, fancy seeing you here, just spent an hour having a read up as I knew nothing and for all I know, JdB might be the CEO's brother, but I think this is undervalued now and have dipped in for 5K on that little drop to 37.5.
Buzz, now you're talking nonsense. I haven't posted anything about Bonum on TLDH other than last week to reach out to him and appealed to leave us alone. Please read my posts this morning on PLE board and try to understand the difference between disagreeing with a person's opinion, and finding the manner in how said person expresses that opinion to be disagreeable. 3 months of constantly being told we are all going to lose money is wearing thin now...and amounts more to prolonged mental bullying in my book than anything anyone has said to him.
Eeez, cracking post and rec'd :-)
Thanks...and I do wish all invested here well even if I don't get back in
Having previously been invested, and then disinvested, I obviously have some reservations about TLDH...if I was considering investing for the first time, I'm afraid your obvious ramping and pumping would make me think twice...and akin to the very worst ramping on some mining stocks. Frankly, I don't think this share needs it...there are positives and negatives to it, as with any stock, so it would be nice to see a bit more balance in the investment discussion that would benefit new and existing holders alike
"Instigated initially"...that was over 3 months ago mate, and you still have neither the manners or strength of character to leave it behind you...every board has it share of name callers and whatever...but also has people like me who want serious discussion of the investment facts. ...and your rhetoric has gone beyond the pale and has even me now bringing it on to this board. You have stated your opinion god knows how many times now, and the only reason is because you still feel aggrieved or because your name is mentioned in a sarcastic post. Grow up man. You've told us we're all losers a million times...can't you just leave it be now. Trying to reach out to you on this for the sake of both boards.
UN, no, I didn't in the end, nearly did around time of the B Gates story, kept them on watchlist and have noted the rise well done, too late now I think. Didn't do Circ either...piled into QPP and at one point one tranche up 100%,albeit a tad wobbly of late, but should see nice return by eoy. Used to hold some here at 16, but sold at 18, still on the watchlist too.
