Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
I believe this is a classic case of the SP moving up ahead of the trading update and profit-taking after the announcement. So, I expect the SP to go down quite a bit on the day, maybe testing the upper 90's. Just my opinion tho, I may be wrong. I have yet to decide whether to sell ahead of the update and buy back in when it drops. Look at JDS & M&S and others. They have sunk so I cannot imagine CARD is immune.

I wouldn't be expecting anywhere near 10m in the bank by June. My guess is this will go into product development, advertising and IT & maybe an acquisition, as has been intimated last year. The cash position is likely to remain stable or go down. It's good that there is optimism here, but my view is to balance things out and I see headwinds ahead.
Traction doesn't necessarily mean things are going great - could mean they have sold one more test per week than they did the week before. Without sales volumes and margins, we are just at the mercy of the words they use in the RNS.
Also, there is too much reliance on Boots - there are other outlets. Putting all your eggs in virtually one basket is very risky.
But, I do hope they will do well in 2024 - lets see what happens.
Or a PE buyout may be on the cards, as I am sure it is not cost-effective letting this run as a public company what with the associated listing, regulatory and compliance costs that come with it eating into their cash.

We need and we will see hopefully pullbacks - that would be a good sign of momentum and opportunity to buy / top up on the dips imo. Sellers go out and buyers come in - it would be good to see a churn which will generate further momentum imo.
Firstly, I think you will find the SP is back up to a little below where it was pre-RNS announcement. And its certainly higher than what it was a month ago. So if you bought in then like I did, you are already making a tidy profit and can take some money off the table. Secondly, it might be an idea for you to read through the RNS as the detail is so important here.

Frogkid - It doesn't make sense to me that you would consider buying if you believe this is a farce. You would be doing this on a hope that the SP will rise after Jan. What if it doesn't. You would be taking a big risk imo, is it really worth it?

"my 100% profit is now a 40% loss."
As I understand it, you haven't made a profit or loss until you have actually sold up. So whether the SP went up to the 30s or down to 8s where it is now, its pretty much meaningless imo.
DYOR
I believe this was always going to happen and where a stop-loss comes in very handy.
DYOR
It should only be concerning if you need to sell right now because you need the cash.
Otherwise, the current SP is pretty much irrelevant imo.
