Cavendish - Nomad update23 Sep 2025 22:47
Interesting Nomad summary following today's results, including my view on things. Conservative expectations is for FY25 cash to fall to £12.0m, down from HY25 of £23.3m - that will be a big drop imo. Divi to remain flat, although I would have expected this to be cancelled if significant signed contracts for second half do not materialise. Target price cut from 20p to 16.5p, which I still think is a bit ambitious and would expect nearer the 13p mark. FY26 seen as stabilising, rather than growing (that was my interpretation) and FY27 seen as growing. No mention that the acquisitions could in hindsight have been badly timed and they may have paid too much for CRS. HVO now looks like a 3-5 year turnaround imo. My hope is that the new Exec Chairman will, with his vast experience, be hands-on and move things forward at a greater pace than that perceived in the Nomad report. Food for thought: do MK & SP have a future and remain in role or is a changing of the guard needed now we have a new Exec Chairman now in role and a new Exec Director on the horizon?
Just some thoughts here....I hold (for now)
