The link below shows the likelihood of success for an autoimmune drug passing P1 is 70%. A few posters here have suggested a successful CTA application has already been priced in to the current sp. If they're correct, does that also suggest a potentially successful P1 trial could get priced in sooner rather than later?

Mafuta - The BoD probably just want to give us as much info on the trial as they can in a single RNS rather than drip feed us the approval confirmation, then the start date, then funding P1b details, maybe a license agreement etc.

Hi Mafuta - we might get final year results at the end of the week.

However, even if they're not released until later in the month, GSK's next pipeline update looks like being in Nov. so our programme update won't say much - if anything - about 737 plans. Also, although we suspect the CTA has approval, we could still be waiting for the CRO to give us a start date for P1a but I would at least expect the programme update to outline how P1b will be financed.

I think the next 4wks will bring lots of interesting news, especially if GSK announce plans for 737 in multiple trials.

Evening Blue - even though we've got the patent covering China, I'm not overly convinced those chaps pay much attention to such legalities. Just look at their car industry - a remarkable variety of european knock-offs. If the likes of BMW can't stop them then I doubt two blokes in Cambridge have much chance.

True, though my thinking was if GSK bought us out then a fresh set of eyes might spot something we'd not considered. Plus, of course, we only have the Chinese's word that they couldn't solve the issue ;-)

Morning SOG - it isn't any stretch of the imagination to think that JR designed 1802 & 737 to have some element of synergy built in. This could have been somewhere between a happy coincidence and a premeditated intention - if a company buys one of them, they'll surely want the other too. Then why stop there - just buy the whole shop!

On a slightly different topic, what if the SO boffins could crack the solubility issue with the FLT3/Aurora project?

Hi SOG - what will be interesting is to see if the sp manages to sustain itself at the higher levels you propose.

Although we climbed fairly quickly to £4.50 (9p old money) based on thoughts of AGILE funding for covid, that was pure speculation. However with actual knowns - 1801 progression and perhaps word from GSK - whatever rise we see should be to greater heights and once P1a results are known (early next spring?) then £10 might perhaps be a new baseline.

The question is, if the CTA news gets released at the end of the month AND we were to get an update from GSK, would the market respond better to two separate RNS rather than one mega RNS?

I think two would be better - one for 1801 detailing approx timescales and how P1b will be financed and another for GSK's intentions and timescales expected for milestone payments. A double-whammy and the market would go nuts for SAR!
