And the most stupid post of the day (a common achievement by the little whacker CFP person)
Hard evidence is in the KPIs. Next set due in November - possibly early November. Quarterly KPIs are not yet produced by your favoured SMARTEYE (wonder why) Seeing Machines KPIs show clearly the increase in cars on the road and fleet aftermarket installations.
Thanks for pointing out this great news - the take up of DMS across the industry is accelerating! Also note, a large part of that 1 million for SMARTEYE is now a contract taken over by Seeing Machines…BMWs rolling off the production line right now, with Seeing Machines tech. Exciting times ahead!
Phew, thanks again for the great news - good job we didn’t diversify into steel production. This development is fantastic news - the strike (which by the way is not affecting any models that SEE DMS is in) will be over very shortly IMO - exciting times ahead!
And this is the exciting bit - new contracts on the table from now - which if we follow our current win rate, could possibly see us reach a market share, as little whacker has correctly pointed out, will probably not be 40% - way way higher IMO. Research - read the RNS, work out the win rates, look at what’s on the table. The numbers are quite frankly startling.
I think your Whacky backy might be affecting your short term memory - I am worried about you, but thanks again for reminding us exactly how we are getting cars on the road….the contracts signed over the last two years will be hitting the roads from now, and even more exciting, the products available in the market NOW will be hitting the roads much faster due to the ability to integrate quickly.
Exciting times ahead!
In the last two years, contributing to cars on the road:
We have had:
Global framework agreement with Shell - helping to achieve record fleet installation figures
A European sales team established to cope with the ever increasing demand in Europe
A bipartisan infrastructure agreement passed in the US which will ultimately lead to the mandating of DMS tech in the States
Not just a collaboration with, but a licensing deal with Collins - a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent systems for the global aerospace and defence industry
The largest Driver and Occupant Monitoring system award thus far (A$125m) which will be putting cars on the road in 2024.
OMNIVISION collaboration resulting in Development of World First ASIC with Integrated ISP and Occula® NPU Optimized for Driver and Occupant Monitoring Systems - plenty of cars on the road to come from that I am sure
Ambarella collaboration a unique technology combination will bring Seeing Machines' industry leading OMS and DMS technology solutions to Ambarella's CV2x CVflow® family of edge AI perception systems on chip (SoCs). Ambarella's CV2x chips will bring plenty of cars o. The road I am sure - not to mention the possibility of doorbells!
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety creates safeguard ratings and requires DMS features in the U.S. cars on road? I think so!
Seeing Machines to deploy world-first pilot fatigue detection system for Air Ambulance Victoria - planes in the air? When is that KPI coming? Exciting times ahead.
Seeing Machines inks additional Occula® NPU licence - who with? We are unsure but one things certain - more cars on the road…
Seeing Machines announces collaboration with new state-of-the-art optics technology company - significantly enhancing safety features.
Seeing Machines appointed for DMS production solution with first Japanese OEM - so we are now in Japan - more cars on road from 2025. Exciting times ahead!
New Tier 1 customer appoints Seeing Machines for an additional European Automaker - oh, more cars on the road from 2024…exciting times ahead!
Seeing Machines appointed by global Tier 1 customer to deliver DMS for additional OEM program - oh, another contract - oh, more cars on the road from 2024 - ETA!
Just the minor issue of an exclusive deal with Magna and investment (funding) which many companies are finding desperately hard to find in the current climate - cars on the road to come - will we hit 60% market share?
For anybody wanting information on the aviation section of Seeing Machines, remember the company website is actually a great place to start - it includes a brochure showing the simulators we are engaged with:
https://seeingmachines.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/SeeingMachines-Crew-Training-Sell-Sheet-2023.pdf
Only one aviation contract?
Wrong on so many levels - let’s not forget our partnership with CAE.
CAE and Seeing Machines will install and integrate the Crew Training System on three Lead-in Fighter Trainer Full Mission Simulators, to improve aircrew training with a specific focus on understanding where the pilot's attention is through Human-Machine Augmentation and Advanced Sensors. The Seeing Machines eye-tracking technology is a world-leading, proven, and unique capability to deliver improved aircrew training with more efficiency, while reducing costs and attrition.
Once this takes off - Exciting times ahead!
“ There is 1 (one) air ambulance operation, 1 (one) excavator manufacturer and no aircraft manufacturers.”
Wrong again and thanks for pointing out this positive news - you are on fire this morning. We also have contracts with the Australian air force, and simulator contracts. Aircraft manufacturer contract would be with Collins, leading avionics supplier. By the way, did you realise that brokers have yet to price in the aviation contract? That means a massive rerate very soon IMO (DYOR)
Exciting times ahead!
Good morning and thanks again little whacker for pointing out this positive news.
Contract values by the way usually only represent a minority percentage of the total lifetime revenue. As is constantly pointed out in analyst communique which you won’t have bothered listening to (or paying for), contracts in reality are extended - so this will put your mind at rest regarding the money coming in. Exciting times ahead!
You’ve already pointed out that 40% does seem a conservative figure - 60% is more realistic IMO by volume (by revenue could be 70%?)
And next you will be proposing Apple Inc diversify into chicken farms.
Thanks little Whacker - again you highlight what is incredibly exciting.
Brokers have still not accounted for the markets that Seeing Machines are chasing.
Have you heard about aviation? Seeing machines tech is involved in multiple aviation projects, I do believe ‘anything that flies’ has been quoted. That includes ALL airplanes but also space vehicles, helicopters, and remember all military aircraft. But not only that, there are also applications for fatigue monitoring for air traffic controllers. Oh, and also all of the simulators produced to train the growing demand for pilots around the globe.
Good job we have that exclusive agreement with Collins - the leading avionics supplier - who seem pretty pleased with partnering with Seeing Machines - check out that RNS, very exciting:
Troy Brunk, President of Avionics at Collins Aerospace stated: "This agreement with Seeing Machines allows Collins Aerospace to further enhance our solutions. Seeing Machines' cutting-edge technology, coupled with our expertise in avionics and flight controls will help deliver innovative products that address the evolving needs of our customers. It is a testament to our commitment to ensuring the safety of pilots, flight crews and passengers."
You could of course watch this incredible video of what the Collins deal means to Seeing Machines:

Between them, Tesla and BYD produced 3.22 million cars on 2022. Globally, there were 85.4million cars produced. Even if Seeing Machines weren’t in any BYD or Tesla vehicles (which has not yet been confirmed btw) that would leave 96.2% of the market left for Seeing Machines - crikey the share keeps going up! Thanks little whacker - exciting times ahead!
I am not spreading Mis information and have reported this statement as libellous.
Perhaps you should do some research?
There are multiple sources - even your favourite SMARTEYE has an excellent paper on it - here is one link of about 30 I have on the subject:

Just a little reminder on some of the news over the last two years - most of which is going to dramatically increase the number of cars on the road over the coming months:
We have had:
Global framework agreement with Shell - helping to achieve record fleet installation figures
A European sales team established to cope with the ever increasing demand in Europe
A bipartisan infrastructure agreement passed in the US which will ultimately lead to the mandating of DMS tech in the States
Not just a collaboration with, but a licensing deal with Collins - a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent systems for the global aerospace and defence industry

Appointment of new CFO that for some bizarre unknown reason spends his first year buying as many Seeing Machines share he can stuff into his pockets….hmmm…
Seeing Machines appointed to deliver additional DMS OEM program - another contract - cars on road from 2024 - maybe you are right, this is getting boring!
All the little whacker is proposing is that EVs may be less popular - which doesn’t make any difference to Seeing Machines as ALL new cars will be mandated to have DMS installed. DMS is not tied to EV production, that is what is so exciting. The whacky one is great at pointing out all the positives, they are highlighting all that is good about Seeing Machines. Exciting times ahead!
Amazing product - so with this and the Magna mirror being fast install options, and OEMs fast running out of time to get safety compliant, we could well be winning north of 60% of the market? Exciting times ahead!
It’s a fair cop, it probably was an unrealistic prediction. You are right - it’s probably going to be more like 60%. Thanks for pointing out the obvious, when you read the RNS and listen to the investor presentations it all becomes totally clear. Thanks for making it all the more obvious. 40% is ridiculously low.
I am sorry, but had to remind myself what has happened in the last two years….boring? I think not! Exciting times ahead! Thanks for getting me to do this - it is often easy to forget just how much news has come in the last two years!
