Looks like areas for revenue are constantly changing within this whole sector. The r and d division is the key to getting back to a realistic valuation. If. Takeover happens this is what large pharma are paying for not the millions Sat in the bank. If no takeover then the ability to bring out new products generating revenue. Some may argue it is more risky because of no fall back if dhsc contract other nay argue it was holding us back. I would say a bit of both now is the time to bag some big international contracts with the carrot of new products in the background. I would like to ask genuine long term investors how they see Novacyt in let's say three years.
" The ultimate measure of a man's is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy" Martin Luther King. Morning all one of my favourite quotes. GLA
I hope that all of the investors left in get the opportunity to get out in excess of £12 and it will be nice to stick two fingers up at the morons whose only mission is to disrupt and be obnoxious. Goodnight to all the genuine people on this board let's hope tomorrow we start turning things around.
So glad the sp did not crash today reading all of the comments over the weekend I was fearing the worst.
Still not a great situation but at least we have formed a base to build on. I am hoping for some positive Rns from the company. I think people are wrong doubting the credibility of GM and NCYT if anything they play things too straight. If they are not in a closed period I am sure the BOD would be buying more shares. Thanks to all the genuine posters for helping keep my spirits up. GLA
Lots of opinions on here today. For the genuine investors yesterday morning I woke up in a state of shock like most of you. My lad came up to me and asked if we could play a board game, I said fine go and get one. He came back with go for broke at which point I did not know whether to laugh or cry. Luckily I see the funny side today. I hope it makes some of you smile. GLA
Words of reason from both Shaun P and Rsmithy I agree with both of you. Lots of opinion at one end of the spectrum or the other nice to see sensible reasoning. I am staying as I believe we have lots of options to move forward and we do not need any financial support due to cash in the bank which is still growing each day. Interesting to see if the margins will improve or at least stay the same.
GM and his team will be working hard on getting shareholder value all the BOD are holding shares. They could quite easily afford to buyback 10 million shares which would still leave around 100 million in the bank.
Some interesting times I think many investors have sold out and not many large institutions Have holdings so I can't see this falling massively again. Indeed I think we will get a bounce next week. Are we worth around 300 million market cap with 140 in the bank and approx 40 million turnover per quarter with ground breaking technology to come. Look at the basics people for some the stress will be too much for others an incredible opportunity but for most I suspect it will be sit tight and hope for the best. GLA
Firstly people who are no longer invested please leave this board am not sure what enjoyment you get from gloating over other people's misery or sadness.
Secondly existing investors please re Read the last three paragraphs of the rns on its own. Given GM does not do bullish he says he expects
1. Confident of new contracts.
2. Promote will continue to be rolled out in hospitals in 2021.
3. Company is encouraged by snpsig demand and new products in development.
4. The company is well positioned for future growth as it expand product portfolio and service offering.
There is lots of hope and positivity for shareholders here in addition to the money in the bank and also 50 per cent of sales which are non dhsc. Now we will have the capacity to go after a country/region that has money to pay for the gold product such as the Middle East or North America.
The brokers valued this stock at £14 without the extension from dhsc. I can sed directors and institutions buying at these price levels. GLA
I would love to see recommends from genuine holders on this post.
Very true Porky lots of value here. I get the feeling that we may have a massive role to play in getting costs down for pcr tests needed for travelling. Working with the govt we must be supplying that least 50 % of the UK market for travel purposes? This is where we are going to make up the DHSC shortfall.
Morning Wilson
Thep joys of spring. Totally agree we need people defending and being strong right now. Ironic we are making jam today but not sure about tomorrow. I guess a new stream of income will start shortly from travel despite the government trying to use cheap LFT'S at least the rest of the world will only accept PCR testing. I don't think this is the end game bug merely a strategy change. I tend to agree that we will see a bounce back to around the 5 to 5.50 level short term. If the govt issues get sorted may be more. I think GM has maintained his integrity and would be
Great to see him buying more shares.
Am absolutely gutted at the news today. I feel for all holders of NCYT including the BOD. I guess it shows strength that they were not prepared to be bullied by the government. I just hope the government realise Karma is a wonderful thing. The company needs to move forward and work with people and institutions that appreciate what they do. Goodnight All.
