I think that the Parys latest drilling results are due this quarter. Does anyone know off hand if this is correct - or if I have missed announcement regarding a delay

I think it is encouraging that it seems to be holding 3.5 upwards on absence of news.

As Brent has said in the past due to relatively small number of free shares it does not take much to shoot price up.

Albeit in past has then drifted back.

I think with ongoing developments at Parys and with Granesberg and Labrador in the back ground next few months could be interesting.

Have to agree initially I had similar reservations and was also slightly disappointed to see opportunity for reverse take over to get listing go. I then wondered if on grounds of cost but surprisingly from what I can see once initial listing on either exchange in place annual cost appears similar.

That led me to conclude (rightly or wrongly) that simply AIM less restrictive.

I hope that the lightening of restrictions is because company wishes to do something shortly that will benefit from that.

In which case that good news I think

I think it also shows that Jo is steadilly working through all that is in place - progress with the three projects - website - more appropriateness of listing.
All in my opinion very encouraging.

As an aside I believe most AIM shares after a two year holding period are exempt from IHT. Whether previous gone of holding whilst on main exchange counts I don't know

So could just make shares attractive to some of the specialist fund in this sector and wealthier investors

Let us hope that the drilling has been so successful that they have kept going!

Must admit if this steady trickle sales continues to nibble at price I am getting tempted for a top up. If nothing else perhaps pick up some to trade with whilst leave core holding untouched

It would seem that the ducks are all lined up in a way they have never been before - across the three projects we know about - especially Parys.

Interesting that the Hittites predate even the mining at Parys. Your you tube Interesting although had watch couple bits twice - did prompt me read up on Hittites whilst unable to sleep. Again interestingly they would have found a use for the copper.

Oddly - and now I like you am well off track - I think the Spartans used bronze weapons at Thermopylae. Periodicaly - not withstanding the betrayal they suffered there I do wonder what might have happened if they had steel weapons which kept their edge

I think recent RNS is actually good news if I have interpreted it correctly previous holder has successfully sold or placed approx 1 million shares which I think may relate to last placing. One would expect possibly price dip (which we saw) with that volume passing through.

Encouraging that some one wished to aquire that volume

My interpretation may not be right and I would welcome correction if others have different opinion

I think the Grangesberg update is really good news

I do not have great deal of knowledge in that area

But if tests plans etc as hoped I would think iynot take much to suddenly put a great value on AYM investment and more importantly on their large option

Given relatively low current market value of AYM effect to the share price in my opinion could be very significant

Hopefully attract the interest of a major for all the reasons Jo has outlined.

On the other side I don't think this is allowed for in share price - so if results disappointing no obvious downside either

I am quite willing to be corrected but would be nice to think (hope) might be similar to what happened with Labrador all those years ago
