I wonder if a major or anyone was going to buy if they would first hoover up just under 5 % of the shares at low price before then declaring interest. There is no sign of that. Also if such such announcement imminent i would find it hard to believe e that directors would have sold their recently acquired option shares.

I would like to be wrong and of course events could overtake directors. But I suspect they forsee nothing happening in this vein ahead of AGM when they have chance to grant some more options to themselves

On the other hand Bill is usually very courteous when it comes to shareholder contact so perhaps reason for his lack of response.

Interesting to see what half yearly report says.

My understanding is as yours. I am ambivalent over the resolution but thought if going put it forward then need best that was something company could actually do in unlikey event of it being carried. As opposed to be thrown out on a technicality. Interestingly juno share holding i think is know down to about 26 percent enough to stop a hostile take over (where i believe 75% acceptance be needed) but not enough to stop the passing of an ordinary resolution where just more than fifty per cent needed.

Further to my last post I don't pretend to know much on these matters but i think the motion (if you do v wish to proceed with it) might need to. Be for the sale of the shares in the subsiduary (which i thnk AYM own) as opposed to Parys Mountain itself which I am fairly sure they don't

Brett when constructing the motion may I suggest you have a look at company's house beta to help with the wording. If my memory serves me correct Anglesey themselves don't directly own Parys - but a subsiduary which does.

From past experience there is a long period of inactivity. With perhaps a competition of some sort.

Brent's normally calm nature becomes frayed. And then a promising announcement arrives - close inspection reveals a lot of cut and paste - but within it some good news. Price marked up- hits leader board as a riser drives purchases - narrowness of free shares sends price up further

Tremendous excitement all around. New friends arrive whose comments here and else where encourage buying. Price rises further and then returns previous levels over next few days.

I live in hope that l and have done for some time that this is the year the fail back doesn't happen!

There is the LIM hope - backed by previous problems at Vale and likelihood hood construction being used to stimulate economies. This driving iron price. Then we can all see what is happening with copper market

If all else fails annual report usually emerges on July so no doubt that will have some sort of update

Two months away but as another poster has indicated AYM has different time scales and for them that won't even be the blink of an eye

Perhaps a little discouraging that at this key point directors with exception Bill appear to have divested themselves of all their shares. This accepting that they had only recently been aquired.

If it wasn't slightly serious you would have to laugh

Only Anglesey could undertake what should be a relatively simple set of directors share transactions and cause so much confusion

With various interpretations - sold a lot - increased holdings - simply sold shares

Hopefully in a day or two when dust has settled all will be clear

But It does look as if directors following recent take of option have now sold it all.

Amounts are not great and no reason why they shouldn't - but would have thought if good news was in sight they might have held off a bit longer. In unlikely event purchase had made them short they could have sold half to cover cost of remainder. Not a major issue but mildly concerning and not encouraging.

I have just had a look at company's website and the last set of full accounts has a breakdown of options. It doesn't look to me as if many left. Perhaps someone else might like to have a look.

Either way would indicate not be announcement for a while

Not very clear at all - would be discouraging to see them sell even if they were just the recent options

Mike wouldn't disagree with Bill doubtless RNS expensive and some information I accept has to be via RNs But I am sure I other information doesn't have to be and yes need to be balance. But I think there is a degree of update that could be communicated legally without RNS

Not having your classical education i took bottom phrase(copy and paste) and dropped into Google on hope quick translation - took to rather interesting and unexpected site - which i fear Trev might not approve of. Having wrenched myself away and used proper translator I am now the wiser.

My experience reminds when elderly mother of a friend googled whiplash after a car accident and had (for her) an unexpected enlightening to the habits of others

Trev did try to maintain order - it always seemed to me that he kept an especially close eye on you. I can remember he used to get very cross about what he considered unwarranted recommendations and admonish accordingly - which often had the effect of getting everything in sight recommended. Hopefully he is well but has not been seen for a while.

I have noticed AYM follows patterns usually - one being a hefty rise after a share issue. With apparently lot of the placing sold soon after. This didn't happen this last time. I don't know why but I also would have thought (as far as LSE rules permit) the buyers would have had a very good idea of what they were doing

I have a lingering suspicion that some or all of them are only waiting to move into profit or breakeven before selling. Which does mean thatif and when price gets to 6p there may well be a stutter as several million shares come through. Hopefully they have the patience and ability to wait and don't try to sell before.

Perhaps I will emulate one of the previous posters - Trev are you able to give a knock to confirm your presence?
