Thanks RKB. If you're right in that the accounts will show gross profits almost equivalent to current mcap, then we may see some sort of reaction here. The market isn't interested in valuing the assets at the moment for whatever reason, so hopefully seeing NAV in black and white will again push this north. ATB

Yep - annual fee might appear high, but I'm not using III just to trade DOR on ASX, and I've got more than one account with them. So the fee spread across each account makes it seem less painful Since they merged with TD recently, their charge to trade has come down to �6 which is quite competitive. Anyway, I'm starting to sound like a spokesperson for III, which I'm not. Just thought I'd let you know that there might be a slightly less painful way to be able to get rid of DOR in the future. Just going to ride it out. Who knows, any positives from ANGS (and UKOG to a lesser extent) and it might be worth holding. What a shambles this has become. Just a mere 940% to break even...

this morning with the intention of just getting rid of what is now a laughable holding following all the goings on in the last few years. They did say however, that they will automatically transfer my NEX shares over to ASX automatically. Also, they advised that I'll then be able to trade ASX online, whereas they were only ever phone trades on NEX. Commission remains the same for ASX trades too. Anyone else with III and been told similar?

I'm happy for any new investor that manages to make money out of ECR. Similarly, I'm happy for any existing (pre-consolidation) holder who is able to reduce their losses as a result of the BoDs actions. You must acknowledge that in order to raise further capital however, they will issue shares. Now whether that's to OPTIVA or not, makes no difference to me.

I'm not going to dig up the past and you know full well who I'm referring to. Frankly, I've written off my investment here and was only adding to the comments from others. If you believe in the new BoD, then good for you. My opinion however, there will be cash needed for whatever they choose. How that cash is acquired is glaringly obvious if you ask me. GL however

Your existing annuity is completely unaffected, so need to worry about your future income. The company will not become insolvent overnight and there are numerous safeguards to protect existing policy holders. ATB

Working in this specific market for the past 8 years, the announcement certainly had a knee jerk reaction and most companies of a similar business type were quick to make a 'positive' announcement. IFAs will struggle to suggest annuities to consumers, as the announcement was in favour of those consumers. If you are given the option to release your pension, taxed on your personal circumstances, or be given a return of c7% (and that's being very generous with current annuity rates) you'd question any IFA giving you the advice to secure a guaranteed income for life. Also, would there now be a slight increase in the 'tax free' element as its taxed based on personal circumstances? Meaning the first £10.5k (after 25%) will also be tax free?

I agree, a bounce will come but to what level I'm not sure...I bought some here, as I know the company very well ;-) No impact on the 25%, still available so no need to panic as that's what most look forward to come retirement.
