Amaroq have the operational experience and expertise that the USA would need to exploit Greenland that nobody else can match. I believe the company could be a major beneficiary if things progress. I'm a LTH here and not worried by this at all.

This saga has been way overblown by a few self righteous individuals moaning because they didn't have enough knowledge or conviction to back their own judgement or see the wider context. Now some of them appear to be in a vindictive and totally unnecessary move to drive the most knowledgeable poster off this board. Bamps has contributed far more than you will ever do, and for me an many other posters has been a contributing factor to me staying invested on here, resulting in gains which I had virtually given up on in the viper pit of the AIM before i started reading his posts, The hypocrisy of some people is staggering, the board has been full of other people discussing their own sells for over a week. If you drive the well researched off here this board will become like most others on LSE. Devoid of interest and of little benefit. So give it a rest. It's the season - and you're like turkeys voting for Christmas...

Sounds promising. I'm an LTH who couldn't get to London & whose technical mining knowledge is limited to UK coal mining -(which doesn't appear to have much relevance) I'm reading everything you write Bamps . But wondering if the mooted Worcestershire meet in 2026 is a goer to hear it all put together ?

I've read the article in full, he doesn't say sell GGP. You aren't quoting him, you're just pushing your own agenda as previously.

He makes a compelling case, there's more potential in here than i realised, lots of irons in the fire and timing looks favourable. I'm not heavy in here but I've just added off the back of this.

Time I put my head above the parapet on here. I've just read the updated presentation and there are up to date "official " comparison figures for GGP v other Oz players. They read well to me and appear to bear out much what Element is saying.

As a long term lurker with years of holding GGP and a fellow CEO who knows how difficult the job is. I've got to say the SD criticism ive read on here is totally undeserved. Reminds me a football forums after a loss when the armchair brigade think they know better than the manager. What's been achieved in the past year is phenomenal, a total transformation and a massive amount of work imo. This is my biggest holding and will be for years to come. This board will be better once the impatient, unrealistic and ignorant have gone elsewhere.

i bought in when Tom Joule came back into the company, i'm a long time customer, and i figured he was best placed to turn it around, if he couldn't i saw him as having integrity and would do the right thing. I've put my trust in him. Rightly his first priority was the best deal for the staff, i'll wait to see if he has done anything for us small shareholders.

Agree, a very positive statement on Christmas sales which shows the burst in DIY last year wast just a quick flash in the pan. These are a long hold for me, maybe not fast moving enough for some on here, but solid and upwardly mobile for the pragmatists.

Nicely put.... I remember taking my daughter to the agm as a toddler - there was plenty of optimistic talk that i recall. I have kept my holdings and so haven't lost my sense of optimism, but anyone who's been with this for the long term knows better than to get too excited. She is 12 now...
