So, reading between the lines,

Three people on here are BoD's,
One is Tarquin.
Two worked for BS
Three work for NS
One works for Cairn.
Two are employed by the FCA.
Six are Market Makers.

Perhaps one day, when we are all multi-millionaires we can all meet up for an evening where everyone can reveal themselves and reminisce about all the comments made on the bulletin boards.

Anyone below care to start piecing this "jigsaw" together? All clues greatly appreciated.

Vote IN FAVOUR of Resolution 1
Vote AGAINST Resolution 2

I am even more confused now.

There is no way I would vote for a Placing (so NS and their rich mates can make a fortune at the detriment to the LTH of VAL).

So, on this basis, I vote AGAINST Resolution 2??

I understand what you saying about VAL wishing to issue up to 455m new shares.

In Resolution 2, it states that, if VAL were to issue any shares (hinting via a Rights Issue), it would be on a pro-rata basis to existing shareholders.

In which case, IF they issue all 455m new shares it would be a 1 for 1 Rights Issue?

...or am I still missing something?

My "basic" take on this is as follows:

454,962,717 VAL Shares in Issue.
They propose raising £454,963 - sometime in the future.
At 3p per share this equates to an extra 15,165,424 shares.
Which means a 1 for 30 Rights Issue?

"Basic" maths based on 3p.

Tarquin and the BoD have both stated that all shareholders will be able "benefit" from future fund raises - and not just NS and their mates!

Or, am I misinterpreting this?

1p to 3p in a year is brilliant by any standards.

What "spoilt" this was those "pump and dumpers" at BS (and now NS) who stick a pin in th FT, go to a company and say "hey, we can raise you some cash"

The company say great. BS/NS go to all their mates and say "do you want some VAL at 2p"

The price is convieniently ticked up to 4/5/6/7p.
The "mates" in the know forward sell at these "inflated" prices knowing that a secret RNS will be published and they are being "given" shares at 2p by their BS/NS mates.

The Company is happy because they have their cash.
BS/NS and their "mates" are very happy because they have all cashed in.
The LTH get shafted.
BS/NS stick another pin in the FT and move on to the next stock.
Repeat,
Repeat.
Blah, blah, blah....etc.

The FCA will so sweet FA to investigate the above. May be this is all totally "legal"

If they did, my guess is that they would probably uncover that its the same "mates" who are shafting the LTH's of these companies.

May be VAL have been ill advised in the past by being lumbered with BS/NS.

May be the VAL BoD will have a better understanding of shareholder sentiment after the events of the past year.

I suspect that not many of these "mates" will be on here this weekend. They will be out sipping Champagne at some corporate event organised by one of their Director mateys...throwing darts at the FT!!.

My Thoughts/Comments/Questions:

1. If they are seeking shareholder approval to have a Rights Issue or Open Offer then this is OK.
2. If they do yet another Placing to those parasites at NS (ex BS), this is not OK.
3. Something (positive) is going on at VAL IMO, at long last.
4. I expect more positive news prior to the GM on 24/07/18.
5. VAL did hint that they would give an update in July 2108.
6. Why has MT started a new role at a different firm? (if part-time then not an issue) MT is still on the VAL website.
7. The BoD have been listening to the shareholders in the recent months.
8. Why did RJ suddenly turn from "Robin Hood" into a soft pussy cat following his meet with VAL?
9. Has anyone any proof there was a meet between RJ and VAL?
10. If both did meet, it was a positive meet and RJ was told about VAL's future plans and possibly told of this GM?
11. I am hoping (and praying) that VAL is now ready to deliver so that EVERYONE connected with VAL is rewarded for all it's hard work and dedication.
12. I hope all LTH are finally appeased by the BoD of VAL and equally hope that millions of cancer sufferers can benefit from the VAL products - After all, this is why all the staff decided to make a career in this particular industry.
13. Good luck EVERYONE associated with Valirx Plc.
14. If all comes good for EVERYONE, I will be the first to thank the BoD and their amazing staff who work hard trying to make these life-changing products a reality.
15. Lets see how things develop over the next month(s).

On 28/09/16, VAL called the exact GM for 12/10/16.

Look what happened to the share price then....

This may be the good news we have all been waiting for?

It will be interesting to see what proposals are on offer here?

As only one person holds 4.5%, the remaining 95.5% are in the public hands so VAL need to come up with something positive/good to get these proposals through??

Or, may be he is still employed by VAL and is working for both companies?

No doubt VAL will update their website soon if he is no longer associated with VAL.

He must have handed in his notice or been given notice so VAL and Align (?) will have known about this for some time now?

On LinkedIn, I states that VAL's Corporate Development Manager has updated their profile stating they have a new position with Riverfort Global Capital (as their Business Development Manager).

The Valirx website still shows this person as being a member of the VAL Management Team.

On the basis we are going to get the next eagerly anticipated RNS in July 2018, we only have a maximum of 17 working days to go.

I'm sure I read on hear that someone had written a formal letter (to Theresa May or the relevant department?), requesting an update on how this £75m of new funding was to be allocated. Also, that they would respond within ?? days?

Just wondering if anyone knows the answer or can give an update please?

Elil Lilly & Co. are in the business of acquiring promising oncology/drug companies.

If this company was thinking of acquiring VAL (and I'm not suggesting for one minute they are) would the eagerly anticipated RNS the headline could be along the lines of "Lilly & Co. acquires Dilly & Co." :-)

Just for fun.....and to relieve the boredom of waiting, can anyone think of any other potential RNS headlines?

Might be a neighbour of an uncles mate who knows someone who works at a research company :-)))
