New year falls5 Jan 2022 13:22
I don’t think there will be anyone on here that expected the sp falls if the new year so far - is there ?
This is tge time to touch base on some things and what different people focus on might be different fir different people.
Fir me, as a longer term holder, it’s the potential returns once were in a positive cash flow situation - oil gushing. At reasonable rates if global oil prices, and even at tge most conservative flow of oil in barrels, we should be absolutely basking in joy. All this just based on Buffalo let alone any other projects.
I have seen nothing to suggest we will still not hit sp double figures at least- perhaps even 20p by 2024 ie knocking on mid cap status
BUT if you’re a trader however then I presume it’s all a bit uncomfortable at present. Most certainly take the opportunity to buy in fir the longer term if funds permit. I am personally STILL awaiting release of some cash flow so I can increase my holdings.
I have said in the past, and I will maintain even now, anyone buying sub 5p will have done well looking into the future
Regards this current fall, I agree with some others that mm’s are in charge until proper volume takes over or bigger institutions kick in
As most of you know, I’m not a big fan of Leslie Peterkin, but even I must give weight to his statement at a recent presentation whereby he said something like “ it’s improbable not to have success in the drill appraisal”
Good luck all
