Surely if it's the risk of Brent declining and not paying debt on time is the only reason holding the SP down, Enquest could hedge all production for 3 years with an average floor of $70, and average cap of $80 (apart from Magnus)

I'd expect them to start layering on heavily in May/June/July.. when Brent gets to $75.

Algo must be desensitized to Brent.... back to 1p / mth improvement..

Need to get rid of the annual forecast of 63k to 70k and release another around 68k to 72K.. that ought to set the algo to 25p .. It's almost afraid of going higher.

I know Brent tends to dive towards 4.30pm, and then recovers.. but feel this will add 0.5p towards the close

I agree E121.. Think Brent will exceed $70 next week..

I'm also thinking Saudi anticipate a drop of $10 at somepoint, so would rather see it fall from $80 later in year, rather than $70.

Now that Cairn is free to talk, is there any advantage to attending their AGM on 17 May, rather than wait for Enquest's on 23 May.. I'm sure the same analysts attend, so might get some useful info after it has officially finished.

Or is that date the next trigger point for an upward movement in SP.?

Looks like Cairn were right about 40k /day. and Enquest too..

Given we had a delay on Load 33 due to weather.. there must have been a bit in the tanks to give load 34 a headstart.. call it a day or two.

Excellent news ... but we need IR to publish the monthly production figures within 7 days of the month end.

I'm not surprised about Barclays agreeing with Cairn.. Enquest never fully disclosed the depth of issues on Kraken.. so best to be prudent..

Just look at Brent and current production and continued deleveraging.. Hopefully by end of 2020, Barclays will become more positive.

We must be near 75k bopd total company production now.. which is high enough to attract new shareholders

I'd agree Chilting.. similar to the Jefferies one last year that ended up being fake news..and disappeared.

I guess we should expect a different name next time..

The timing of it is perfect to collect more shares before the next tanker .. but i still can't understand why investors are getting NT, with 1.690b shares in issues. I had no problems with HL or Barclays a few days ago.

Any excuse to drop and collect stop losses for a larger order at somepoint in the future.. not this week but perhaps later in month.

EIA figures: +7.2m Crude, +0.2m Cushing, -2m Distillates, -1.8m Gasoline

Possibly Houston shipping channel prevented Crude leaving.. so should be lower..

Even though no heavy could get in because they all got stuck in the decontamination process, Houston refiners would of had 3 days worth of stock, so stock level reduction might be spot on.

The jump from 19p to 21p was easy to see with Brent at $69.. but the timing of the next Kraken tanker is what all the analysts are waiting for.. did Bob fix it.?
