@SGD27 efficacy. The degree to which a method or medicine brings about a specific result is its efficacy. efficacy. the ability to produce a desired or intended result.
my interpretation is if it works as a immunity booster and able to stop the spread of the virus in the lung, which are all proven to do so in many trials like in china and you take 10 people from their previous trials. you can see the percentage rate. that's how I based my calculations. I cant really explain it well because English is not my first language but all the information points to this. Hence the rush to get this approved ASAP.

FWIW, I really hope that this treatment works against Covid-19(I'm pretty confident it will) not just because we get loads of profit but ultimately will save lives and consequently a return to normal life like we know it.
SNG treatment was never in recovery trial. Perhaps the were mulling to include SNG treatment but as there are many other drugs being tested and maybe not enough staff etc...for this to happen, it was decided in the end that there was no need for SNG to be in recovery trial due to reasons mentioned above as it is already being trialled across many hospitals in the UK. There is also an info about an option regarding the inclusion of SNG treatment for the recovery trial in the future. Hence there was no RNS of the treatment being in the recovery trial. IMHO
