i haven,t read in any newspapers or heard in the news,any talk of the Falkland Islands being developed to alleviate the current energy crisis.The only comments are on this forum.As a shareholder i would obviously like it to happen.The fact that a lot of our servicemen lost their lives in the 1982 conflict seems irrelevant to our governments.

does anyone know why the price rose 16p today?

when i saw i had an e-mail from rockhopper regarding "farm in agreement" yesterday i was quite excited until i read who it involved.We are talking about two companies here who have had totally opposite acheivements.On one hand, one company has been very proffessional,the other appears to have wasted millions of pounds of investors money and not done the FI image any good whatsoever.I sold all my shares in Des at a substantial loss and was pinning my hopes on RKH recovering this for me in retirement. I just hope that this is not the first foot to be put wrong by the RKH bod.

the talk of a takeover by the Turkish company Renaissance could see me get my long overdue investment back.I hope it comes to fruition.This has to be one of my most frustrating shares yet.

just what does it take to bolster these shares?.Massive order book and millions in cash and yet the share price goes nowhere.Maybe the answer is for them to be taken over.I wish i could sell but hate taking a loss,have been in here since before dividend was reinstated so would probably be taking a 50% drop.Maybe have to bite the bullet to end frustration.

been investing monthly since 1992,so obviously quite happy with performance.Dividends have increased yearly since launch.Retire next year and will hopefully use this as an equity income fund to top up other poor pensions that i have.Drip feeding investment seems to have paid off so far. I use this as my equity ISA
