Why do so many think that . It is because if your buy is the nearer bid price fron the mid price will show as a sell or red and vica versa you should be happy you got ithem a tad cheaper. ...

Called slippage mate with stop losses . When a share tanks you never get your stop loss figure quoted. Con really . Especially on AIM. The MM gives the best price available at the time. Learn't the hardway years ago never use them only any good on Blue chips

Guaranteed stop losses will force an order to go through at a the specified price even if the market price gaps past it. Note that spread betting companies typically only offer guaranteed stops on the most liquid stocks (i.e. don't expect to get a guarantee on a penny stock). Also applies to shares Mike ..
