Mirasol. very fair assessment. The BOD chose the Wonga style as no DUE diligence required. Sometimes, extra paperwork is the best way. Let some independent body evaluate and stress test your plans. That exercise provides comfort and confidence to all parties. I reiterate , this a lifestyle company and nothing more. Any decent competent and transparent BOD will use the long but cheaper formal processes. Wonga finance is for desperate parties. In this case Wonga and BOD are in it together for mutual benefit. BOD extortion salary assured and Wonga profit assured all at the expense of shareholders.

the company had 6.89 million cash at year end and raised fresh capital of 1.2 taking total cash to 8.1 million. out of this you need to subtract annual losses running at 6 million a year leaving some 2.1 million change. too many shares have been issued to service debt and operations just to produce few hundred barrels per day. the price is of all is expected to stay low for the foreseeable future. It is a fact that further shares will be issued at ever decreasing prices to pay off the Wonga loan. meanwhile, the CEO along with the rest of the BOD is is a massive drain on company resources.
It should be quite apparent that this company has no intention of generating value for shareholders Its a lifestyle company. Even when the company may manage to increase production to say 5000 barrels a day, all that surplus money will be absorbed in developing some other meagre asset over the next decade leaving nothing for shareholders. Effectively there is 0000000 Scope of any dividend or capital enhancement. If the BOD had shareholders interests it would have raised funds very differently and especially it would not have gone towards Wonga loan. there should not be the remotest doubt in anyone's mind that a CEO and FD reverting to Wonga funding are outright incompetent and grossly negligent. They are interested I funding their grossly inflated and extortionately fat salaries at shareholders expense. That's a proven track record.

The only time I will consider this when all the placings are out of the way, BOD taking a substantial cut in fat salaries, some operational success and clear commitment from the BOD about the future . BOD had adequate time to perform and so far they have failed miserably.

why would alba be mentioned? The BOD are busy extracting shareholder gold (PLACINGS) . at best there will be another study . they might invest in a shovel and pan in 2030.

I would think that each positive update about progress ,whether planning application or permission, will push us firmly towards the rerate. we are expecting first application this coming week. that should be positive. we are expecting major contract for gas sales at the end of this month. that should be excellent. Effectively May and June are packed with positive developments/progress and IMHO should restore confidence and cause a re-rate.

one thing that has been overlooked is the RNS 20.04 about the convertible loan. It forbids placing under 1p. That is a very positive hint.

reading between the lines (amending the planning permission) it appears that the BOD had a feedback from the council and a revised application is being made to accommodate concerns raised by the authorities. Lets hope they get it right this time. investors conference should be more revealing. Any one attending and ask the relevant questions. Would GKB47 do the honours and give some real Bol00cking to the management . Its a good opportunity to express your very valid and genuine concerns

You have a fair cause for concern as you feel conned by management, the most common trait of AIM companies. Then again, one should not lose hope. I ,too, have been victim very frequently (VAL, DOR,stg, AXM) to name a few. for me this one is bombed out (or very close) and I intend to profit from it.

investors conference call on Tuesday evening should be interesting. there might be a re-rate. who knows. at least the company is communicating frequently to make up for past errors and snobbishness. All bodes well.

Croqman, how eloquently expressed. I was looking at UKOG as well. However, with billions of shares coming on to the market in the foreseeable future(from funding ,loan conversion and more funding) simply put me off. At least this one is comparatively very well funded and the milestones are in the near future and very achievable. Hence took a punt here.

with all due respect one can wish for any price. I doubt they will get the company at whatever doomsday scenarios you are predicting. just admit you want o buy cheaper. I will humbly suggest that you average now. the company has laid out clear plans to do xyz and all of that is in the near future with all the funding in place. The current share price is where it is due to past failures. In other words all the doom and gloom is already in the price. It might get ,temporarily cheaper or more pricy. That's anyone's guess. Meanwhile I am comfortable dipping in my toes at current levels with reasonable confidence that this will pay off handsomely in the future ,despite your conspiracy theories.

most holders here are sitting on massive losses. nothing much here for day traders. its a good entry point here and IMHO 1.5p is a very achievable target price sometime this year. We are due an update in June via interim reports and as news begin to flow about various planning applications the share price has only one place to go. That is UP. Just my two cents.
