Adon - That's my view. It's a tiny team that seems to achieve progress and projects way out of proportion for its size. I think PG is just up to his eyes.

This chap must be on good terms with the FCA if he's calling them 'woke dullards'.

BDT - similar to my thoughts, except I don't think we'll be funding infrastructure ourselves. A very small team with an awful lot going on, and a CEO following his plan. Exploration is an uncertain business normally and PG has done bloody well keeping the show on the road the last 18 months. I reviewed the 2020 presentation again. An awful lot of geo info in there that I won't pretend to understand, but there is an estimate of gas pay and a comparison with Anchois in there. Buried in the RNSs is a higher figure than both. I think we will be alright. No debt don't forget.

BDT - that's the irony and the tragedy. There has been plenty of positive info released, but it's been so technical that the market has not understood it. Compare this with HE1 CEO who did a video to explain sidetracking. I get the impression that PG is operating on a different plane (in a good way) to most folk, but that unfortunately creates a Comms issue, as he understands it, and thinks others do as well.

Muckle, BDT, thank you for the vote of confidence, but I am concerned I've gone from the Board to the PR company in under a minute!

I can't be that good - I forgot to mention planning and submitting application for the second well in the program on the back of the success of the first well.

Just imagine if the RNS had been written like this:-
1. We have completed our first well. There are some very encouraging signs, but we need to analyse the wireline logs before any decisions are made.
2. Having analysed the logs, we are excited to see further encouraging signs, which may increase the size of the prospective resource. We are proposing to ONHYM that we test for commerciality and are commissioning an updated CPR. T&T has been delayed by COVID, but indications are promising and the projects are progressing. There are also some other exciting projects in the wings which we are evaluating. Ron Pilbeam is retiring, so we've brought in Lonny to develop the projects to delivery.
3. By the way, this is Ron selling up to fund his retirement in Trinidad. We look forward to the party on his yacht.

Well, ouch. However, this does explain the downwards pressure on the SP after the 12 July RNS which was positive. Buffett says 'be greedy when others are fearful'. Baron Rothschild also said 'buy when there's blood on the streets, even if it is your own'. I know anyone can quote from others, but there really is a lot going on here for a mcap of £12m. Another topup at a bargain for me. Remember, 'price is what you pay, VALUE is what you get' ;)

My father once told me the art of management wasn't necessarily to keep all the plates spinning, but being able to chose which you allowed to drop. In this case, it's been the Comms. PG is pursuing value with a laser like focus and on many fronts.

Evidence I think that PRD desperately needed to bring in the COO. The company is growing and there's so much going on that PG was struggling to cope. Maybe why he's gone quiet on the interview front?

I get the impression that PG has so many spinning plates, opportunities, development projects etc, that the size of the company and associated cash generation can't keep up. A previous post suggested an urgent cash call for something. Could be part of the FRSU tender (performance or environmental bond?) or perhaps this 'other basin' is the 'secret project' of the last raise? Buying a potentially producing asset? PG seems to be following the maxim of not discussing deals until they are done.

Dear Linton, too obvious. Must try harder. You clearly know nothing about this company, so if a genuine investor, please do some research. Otherwise, please do one.

This question was asked a while back, from the reasonable perspective that most explorations start with the best target. I don't have the answer, but a few thoughts, which I haven't researched as I'm on my phone at the beach. Answers on a postcard, please. From recollection, the wellpad was done immediately before the drill, so it's not that. Could it be 1. EIA done at 1, but not 4? 2. Ease of drilling? 3. Cost? 4. That's what approvals were for? 5. Time slot the drill was available from SDX? 6. Info gathering for 'the big one'? 7. That's what the money was specifically raised for?
