It's no coincidence that I have holdings in PRD and TXP. Both looking for gas where folks previously looked for oil. TXP currently drilling a target that found 700ft of gas, but abandoned as it wasn't oil. I agree there is certainly value in those that have knowledge of previous exploration and discovery. PG seems to know it. The trick is finding these companies. What others do we know of?

Splice - you state you are researching, then state PRD is a gamble on MOU4. Here is what we know. Others feel free to add, comment, amend:-

1. Licence area prospective, with significant resources in current CPR.
2. Survey of surface seeps indicative of commercial resource - gas and oil.
3. MOU1 drilled, encountered more depth of pay than expected, and C1 at 3%, significantly more than GRF1 well, and more than Anchois.
4. MOU1 to be tested for commerciality.
5. MOU1 stated to be linked to MOU4, at edge of a large structure.
6. Appraisal well to be drilled. This indicates a discovery.
7. CPR to be increased.

Doesn't sound like gambling to me.
