RE: VCP & SRP renewals:5 Dec 2017 11:50
Invstrat,
there are shenanigans going on in plain view as far as I can see. Lets look at the share register for a start.
I have been looking for an up to date listing of the shares held by whom in GKP recently just to see who may be messing with the share price. We have had quite a few RNS's this year telling us who holds what and when they got them.
It appears that we are missing more than a few TR1 Rns's telling us who has sold!!
For instance:
http://investors.morningstar.com/ownership/shareholders-overview.html?t=GKP®ion=gbr&culture=en-US&ownerCountry=USA
This reports that GLG Partners, as at 31/10/17 held 351,473 shares
that is down from:
http://www.lse.co.uk/share-regulatory-news.asp?shareprice=GKP&ArticleCode=wu6luvxk&ArticleHeadline=TR1_notification_of_major_holdings
5th July 2017 when we were informed that GLG Partners had a total of 11,096,124 (4.84%) shares in GKP having previously sold down from 5.75%
It is clear to me that the major shareholders are indeed baling out and the company ARE NOT informing the market.
But even then, when you count up the shares that are declared on the open market, it STILL leaves 176 Million shares unaccounted for. Normal PI's have such a headwind here to get any information from these lying gits that it is no wonder people have disengaged from discussions about this company. Little wonder when the CFO turned round and stated he wanted to turn this into the most boring stock on the LSE.
But, people are averaging down, funds and insti's are reducing their positions and PI's are getting percentages up again.
I have been buying now and then to lower my average with the hope that one day these lot might actually do their job for a change or that it may even go up in value (small hope there but I am ever optimistic if not totally ignorant and hard-headed!) and others will have been as well so the small pi's footprint will again be growing in here and JF and co may get a surprise when they coma out from under their stones.
We live in hope at least and my hope is that they do not see a penny out of the horrific incentive plan.
