let's see how we get on with the volume today, hopefully yesterday was the turning of the tide with the 4.5M (just under) volume. The price disconnect here is simply astounding and with the recovery in oil price this just gets more attractive.

I do agree that expectation need to be tempered but not to the extent of $1 per barrel! Especially when there is recent activity with majors paying a lot more for UK assets. Costs here have been estimated by Boldy at $25 per barrel so you're looking at $46 per barrel produced pure profit with well that have flowed at 3400 bopd Let's hope that the management and TOR are not underselling the asset! For me, unless it is sold outright, then LOGP should be looking at a minimum of a free carry and some back costs into the bank for a portion of our 20% But I would much prefer an outright sale personally which is why I look at the value of the asset we have. The majors are cash rich and want proven assets in stable regions as they have to replace their reserves to keep their own market caps up. I'm with you where any representation of actual fair value gives a nice wedge in the old hip pocket and a sprightly step to the pub!
