Perhaps there is are strong clues in the titles of the two recent GKP Presentations by Kathy Kelly, without even considering the content of the Presentations?
Shaikan - Early Insights into a Giant Fractured Carbonate Field
SHAIKAN - AWAKENING THE GIANT Early life insights into a giant fractured carbonate field
Note that both titles describe Shaikan as a giant. They both describe it as a fractured carbonate. They both make it clear that Shaikan is still at an early stage. And one of them uses the very pointed title Awakening the Giant.
Some of us know what Kathy Kelly said, and there are first-hand reports in circulation. Clearly, GKP do not want the material to be publicly available. Yet the Presentations were both approved by the MNR and partner MOL. It is very obvious that, if GKP, the MNR and MOL did not want the content of the presentation to be known, the Presentations would never have taken place. Nor would the word Giant and the phrase Awakening the Giant have been used.
This sort of thing has occurred before. In July 2013 Kathy Kellys boss presented at the Geological Society and he revealed several key metrics, including a Jurassic Connected Volume of c. 13 billion barrels, a reference to Dual Porosity, graphs of pressure changes within the reservoir caused by the Moon, and a drainage radius of 6 miles as measured on a special 3-month test. The presentation was never released by GKP on its website. The AAPG presentation about the Shaikan Fracture System, given in Houston the month after the CPR was published, was also not released. Both of those non-releases occurred when Todd Kozel was the CEO. Jon Ferrier then arrived, he didnt like the non-release of the AAPG Presentation, and he had it put onto the GKP website. But reference to it has subsequently been removed from the website.
Tony Peart mentioned at a presentation that we would love to tell you more, and he subsequently said that the Shaikan Reserves are huge and real.
