I think your giving the environmentalists far too much credence.
The actions are by the BoD and no-one else.
They are most compfartable when they are sucking money from shareholders. It's easy money after all. God forbid they actually do something for their excessive pay packets.
Where else could you get £180k per year for working over 2 wells?

Look at the cycle of the RNS's here, Colin only breaks cover when money isneeded. He has been voted out once already but that was over-ridden at the meeting so he is still here.

The asset is still the same but we still have a bean-counter doing a technical role who is also advised by a bean counter with money backing from the city provided they get their pound of flesh.
It doesn't add up to a whole hill of beans and the ones who have to pay are the shareholders.

Last year they were issuing shares almost every 2 weeks and the comms were flowing like the gravy the boat was floating on.
Now?
Silence for months and then an ultimatum for money.

Let's not forget who started the strategic review and the supposed purpose of it.
Have you seen any value out of it? No, me neither.
Yet Colin wants us to stump up MORE money so he can walk away from something HE started.

Hereshopin, I am a holder here and I strongly disagree with giving free hand dilution rights to this Bod based purely on their non performance and their excessive pay. I have a decent holding here and will be voting against the resolutions. That is my position and my prerogative. I put my points across as I see them and others can decide what they do based on their own scenario, both sides of the fence should be seen and all viewpoints should be discussed.

So just because other holders don't share your view then your advice is to sell up, take a loss and move on? Are you qualified and registered to give that advice? Not a good stance to take. We are supposed to be grown ups during these discussions, let's do that

NONE of Colins fantastical predictions have been met, he negated to tell shareholders about issues with PG11 and there is no crdeible up to date CPR.

this is project managed fear mongering at it's worst and anyone who thinks that the BoD intend only for this to be only a backdrop facility are out of their minds. The ink won't be dry on the vote papers and they will be back working full time with double salary and the pre-written primary bid agenda will be released

the SR is actually a hoax to get the approvals. Remember that the SR only appeared due to the option for them to issue shares was removed.
Once the approval for dilution is voted through then there will be almost instant fund raise and some lame excuses about the SR being cancelled due to (pick your own made up reason here) and that Ast are keeping going on their own but will need constant financing.
They have had a 6 month hissy fit and it's payback time, they need some money for xmas.

CC and CH will get back to their pals in the city and the SP will be decimated

Some accountability is needed when targets are stated and never met.

First resolution is for them to issue shares
Second is to remove the accountability to shareholders to issue shares and essentially allows CH and CC to dilute willy nilly whenever they feel like it.
Nothing of substance was said in that interview and the fact that CH has broken cover is only for the pleading of monies.

Show some results Colin! Show some of the fabled shareholder value you tripe on about and put a resolution in the GM to get rid of Carver (cost savings measure).

Shareholders deserve to see a plan of action instead of the silence that has been endured recently, it's only when the money is running out that the PR starts up again. Not good enough!

CH discussed getting reserves based lending sorted with the banks months ago, why has this not been done? Too busy lazing around on £80k part-time wage!!

Bedex, Read it carefully, they are taking control of the operational side. This is a good thing. BH are one of the best. A definite upgrade to Weatherford of years past!

Js490, BH is there as a management scenario, no more. I have worked these contracts before alongside BH. I wouldn't get too excited about this one. Be careful. BH usually do not take on something like this unless the reserves are there. (Look at Aksai or Kashagan) so the potential is there but buyer beware. Billions at stake for sure but prove it up. The right people are now interested. Prove the model.

prosecuting one or two of the GKP board would be a nice high profile message to the market that the UK system is properly monitored and actually regulated. Heaven knows they deserve it! The message right now across the whole market is that it doesn't matter what you do, there is no repercussions for ripping off shareholders for your own gains. Far too many companies get away with it and many holders in GKP will never see their "investment" return due to the greed of the few.

One thing they definately DO NOT deserve (OR have earned) is any sort of bonus as they have done NOTHING

The board here are liars that have lined their own pockets by volutarily stitching up shareholders for their own gains.
The VCP terms were never reached yet they still awarded themselves millions of shares.

The board here have not carried out any ACTUAL oil drilling activity or anything to enhance the value of the company, I don't believe that they are capable but yet, ever other month or so, another snout sidles up to the trough that is GKP for a feeding frenzy of free money at shareholders expense.
