I think the problem is there are just better companies in the sector at the mo, so no funds interested in buying it.

I still think if they don't find the Unaoil execs guilty in Jan then PFC should shoot up.

Interesting price action today..... the shorters were being very aggressive then somoene has come in buying v aggressively too.

Having to trade this quite actively at the moment. Whenever this has a run of 5% bank profit, then wait for shorters to sell it back down, then reapeat.

As I keep saying....... New chancellor new rules. I bet this was from when Philip Hammond was chancellor "Public sector borrowing is forecast to reduce from £22.8 Bil 2019 to £13.5 Bil 2020-23".

When your economy is about to experience a fairly big shock in the form of Brexit, are you really going to put taxes up...... No!

They won't raise taxes after leaving the EU, if anything they will have to lower them.... Fiscal stimulus init! They will borrow more and probably tax less until the UK recovers.

Pretty sure the shorts have increased because of the macro and how quickly this fell last time when the trade tensions increased. Fingers crosssed....

The British pound has spent the summer tumbling on Brexit concerns, but on Thursday was set for its best day in nearly a month as retail sales figures helped soothe fears over the economy and the Labour party set out plans to try to stop a no-deal Brexit.

So UK retail sales are also doing well, yet people keep wanting to sell ASOS, purely as a hedge to global macro..... All these datapoints keep pointing to this stock re-rating upwards sharply as soon as they sort out these issues in their factories.

past two days there was defo someone keen to buy up these shares (not just me), when the shorters were trying to push it down. I think 399 is possible providing the US can hold on to the gains the futures market are indicating.
