Eh? It's net assets that count and the last reported value of these was just £148m - way LESS than market cap. And most likely that has since fallen (despite the equity raise) with further heavy losses and at least one more write-off.

The situation is dire and personally I'd bite anybody's hand off that offered 50p. Would the institutions etc. - who knows?

I understood your analogy perfectly well but clearly wasn’t commenting on that as such but was just comparing you to a football fan as you raised the topic (though since you ask I do think it is a very flawed analogy - like most analogies are).

That sums you up really. This isn’t a ‘fans forum’ but you treat it like one cheering on QBT like it was a football team. Never fall in love with a share is a well worn saying but still a very wise one.

For clarification though mine are for events in 2025 and so the losses I predict will be announced (probably June this year) are for 2024. I presume yours are for 2025 which won’t be announced until next year.

So once again llywelyn you can’t back up your accusations with evidence. You’re nothing if not predictable.

And yet as always you won’t be able to come up with a single example of a lie - as there hasn’t been one.

My predictions haven’t been too bad either. PAS never did congratulate me when all my previous predictions came true (notably no revenue in 2024 and a raise before April this year).

So here are my predictions for 2025 which I’m happy to be judged against and to let the outcomes do the talking:

1. There will be no raise of funds until at least Q4 and probably not at all this year. (A positive prediction!)

2. There will be no deals announced in 2025 with any chip manufacturer to progress Method C

3. There will be no meaningful progress on Method B and Method A will be quietly forgotten about

4. QBT will announce full year losses of over €1m

5. There will be no revenue in 2025 other then incidental revenue from live mining tests (less than €1,000)

The big hope in my view is the court case as anything could happen there.

They doesn’t excuse that your connection with LAM is absolute pure invention with no more substance behind it than a suggestion of a connection with Microsoft, Bitmain or KFC - but still you persist with it. Just as you persisted with their methods being applicable to Proof of Stake whereas anybody who has any knowledge of the difference between PoS and PoW would know that couldn’t be the case.

One of us is being disingenuous - and it’s not me.

Who said I was in fear of my investment? They have just raised £2m and their cash burn has been a relatively stable €150k or so a month. So I think they’ve got at least a year before they are at risk and plenty of time before that for another tease of a PRN that spikes the price and gives the opportunity of a profitable exit. So in my view the odds are in my favour but of course I could be wrong.

It takes all sorts so whilst I try to deal in facts others invent stuff (like a connection to LAM research or that their methods will work on Proof of Stake) just to try to suck in others and boost the sp. Good luck with that but nothing written here affects the sp (and which is why I’m not worried about saying negative things about companies I’m invested in and why all your ramping is futile).

You’re right but why on Earth would I? They can’t tell me what they haven’t told everybody else in a PRN (or interview) and given how nothing they say in those have led to anything concrete why would I believe anything they said?

I have never contacted any company I’m invested in directly as I believe the answers are already out there if you research properly and if you’ve got to the stage of writing to companies then it means you’re probably getting too attached to your investment.

For me this is just an investment/gamble but a very intriguing one as I believe it is an opportunity for making money even though I think it is a textbook lifestyle company.

It’s difficult not to be condescending when you’ve asked the same idiotic question so many times to so many people and keep ignoring the answers you’re given and so ask the same question again and again and…

For me the short answer is that I’m interested and (at the moment) invested. More than enough in my view. As to why I’m negative that’s easy - the company keeps promising but never delivering and what they say is I think full of holes and inconsistencies. It does however regularly pump on the promises (hence the investment for the next one despite my view of their chances of success).

Hopefully simple and straightforward forward enough for you but I’m sure you’ll ask again before long (oops, that’s the condescension creeping in again - soz).

You also seem oblivious to all the rule breaking from rampers.

You appear to be tying yourself in knots. You claim negative posts get removed because admin think they are breaking the rules but then complain of positive threads being removed? So by your logic those positive posts must be breaking the rules no?

I’ve read many AIM boards and a lot are just like this with the ‘us and them’ attitudes pitting diehard supporters against entrenched sceptics.

The big difference with this board is the incessant reporting (mainly from Mikeydj) with whole threads removed which I doubt has much less to do with any rule breaking (as you suggest) and much more to admin being fed up with all the running to mummy and simply taking the easy option without bothering to read through everything.

The ‘police state’ I am talking about is not about admin but from those on both sides afraid of seeing any opposing view to their own and so they try to suppress it.

Then why is EVERY sceptical post accused of being part of an agenda, shouted down or, even more sinister, attempted to be silenced by removing it.

The board should be about debate and discussion not behave like a police state.

And if you’ve never known a share like this then you clearly haven’t looked at many other boards. Sadly this ‘them and us’ childish behaviour is par for the course for AIM stocks.

Aside from QBT actually saying themselves that they are only interested in Proof of Work their methods rely on solving the problems necessary to mine BTC more efficiently than miners not using their methods. This obviously doesn’t apply to Proof of Stake for the very simple reason that there are no problems to solve and in fact no ‘mining’ at all.

So it is not speculation to say Methods A, B and C don’t apply to Proof of Stake - it’s just a basic understanding that PoS doesn’t involve any solving of problems so nothing that can be ‘solved’ more efficiently whatever the method.

And why do you think there is a news blackout now and what would that have with what I said anyway?

Then man up PAS and say what exactly is wrong about what I have said rather than just say it’s ‘rubbish’. To be clear are you really suggesting that their methods could possibly work on Proof of Stake??? If so then how on earth can that be? And if not then what do you disagree in particular about what I have said?

Go on, debate, it’s what this board should be about, not just hiding behind insults and ignorance.
