"Appointing ACT def a positive move. Better connected with international partners."
1) How are they better connected exactly?
2) Why is that in any way relevant for an auditor?
Changing auditors is quite normal but to dress it up in some way as good for business with such claims is just shameless ramping.
"I see far more reasoned, thoughtful posts from the 'negatives' on here."
Indeed, yet again all the 'positives' on here can do is resort to personal attacks, conspiracy theories, inane questions of the 'why post when you're so negative' kind and just all round general nonsense.
No substance, no insight, no purpose. Different day, same story and will no doubt remain that way for the weeks and months to come in the void between PRNs. So will leave you to it until the next news drops.
"They are just traders or shorters or whatever. Sad existence."
Another made up accusation. I wonder why so many posters on these boards just spend their time doing this but as I said it's tedious and pointless just trying to figure out why people don't behave the way you expect them to.
The most telling thing perhaps for me though in terms of being sceptical about QBT is the lack of substance put forward by the 'believers' to support their argument beyond casual and careless accusations, abuse and selected snippets from an interview (which is at odds with the PRN). Just look through today's chat for example.
On some stocks it's the other way around and it's the 'bashers' that resort to such things and there you can be pretty confident you have little to worry about. Hopefully the next PRN will give investors more to smile about, turn the situation around and those who want to be critical about the stock will be the ones scraping the bottom of the barrel for their cause - but at the moment it's more like shooting fish in one.
Nick, I've posted 78 times in the last 30 days hardly 'ALL day 7 days a week' wouldn't you say? Also my comments aren't 100% negative (though they are about this PRN). As for my reasons for posting I've explained that many times and am simply bored answering the same question.
You are right though that I don't spend much time (and usually none) on stocks on where I make money or are reasonably confident that I will (albeit that could be misplaced). The more doubt I have about one of my choices the more I tend to post which doesn't seem strange to me at all.
However, I don't see what any of this has to do with QBT. I would politely suggest that you focus on the actual arguments being made for and against QBT rather than waste time why posters don't behave in the way you expect them to as that's rather tedious and pointless.
You do realise Obelix that your entire post is just made up fantasy? You are even quoting percentages that you can have no possible way of knowing.
And nobody knows exactly where QBT are (I suspect even they don't).
Instead of just throwing out baseless accusations why not actually counter what you disagree with by giving fact based counter arguments? For example why don't you think they are in early-stage exploratory discussions when they have said in a PRN that they are in early-stage exploratory discussions?
It's a strange world that some on here seem to be living in but personally I prefer mine which is far from perfect but at least has some grounding in reality.
"Your not aloud to have an opinion on here unless its covered with dark clouds and negativity."
Of course you are, it's just that not everybody has to agree with it - it is an opinion after all and this forum is meant to be a place for discussing them.
So you are saying they are lying in the PRN Parker when they talk about only being on "the first steps towards entering into commercial and technical negotiations"?
Personally I'd believe the PRN over an interview any day of the week but if you want to disregard the PRN and hang off his every word in an interview instead then that of course is your prerogative. But wasn't he saying that they were in 'advanced' or 'very advanced' discussions months ago too?
"I think we all know at some point this stock will rise, 2p, 5p, 10p whatever."
Do we?
The price is currently cheap for a reason and that reason is the poor RNS. The sort of numbers you quote would indeed probably be reached on any positive news regarding actual deals etc. but the latest update has put the brakes firmly on the sp and any such positive news is now looking less likely than it was.
It sounds like you are from the school of 'if the sp is lower than it has been in the past then it is good value' but you have to also ask yourself why that might be the case.
“10 tick up in 2 minutes shows someone is getting frustrated”
Yes, ten different people, and probably a lot more - with you.
The same messages day after day trying to ram your uber ramping down peoples’ throats. The irony is you are probably having much more of a negative impact on the perception of the company than anybody who challenges you could possibly have.
As such I’m just totally bored reading identical posts from you multiple times every day. I didn’t think spamming was allowed here but you’ve turned into an art form. So therefore, and since I also think only the most stubbornly optimistic are still being taken in by you, I shall green bin you - until May 19th ;-)
"Hexam watch the interview again, and focus on fgs smile that says it all. 😆"
I'll stick to the official line thanks in the PRN not fluff interviews. Seems Jam is not the only one banking on the CEO's 'smile'. Just have to shake one's head sometimes...
The update never said everything is on track to deliver, instead it said:
"The porting of Method A and Method B onto commercial rigs has proven to be very challenging. The R&D team is currently testing different solutions for the final stage in order to deliver a fully reliable product. An exact date for market roll-out cannot be provided at this stage."
That certainly doesn't scream 'on track' to me.
You may think the update was positive - that is your opinion and you are perfectly entitled to it. Unfortunately the market didn't agree with you.
If people had FOMO they'd be buying already so they have nothing at all to feel uneasy about as there is an obvious remedy.
I'm in but actually took some out after the PRN and have no intention of buying them back (even though they are much cheaper) given the lack of progress. I'll just let the rest ride hoping for another pump (or a miracle of them actually delivering).
This obsession of yours about people waiting to buy in and suffering FOMO (but not buying in) is as silly as it is boring.
Very advanced discussions may have been mentioned in the interview but this is very much at odds with the early stage exploratory discussions mentioned in the PRN and it is the PRN that is the official version - not the videos.
If there is any substantial, positive news in the next two months then call me wrong and any other name you wish to choose - I'll deserve it. Likewise I'll remind you of this exchange on May 19th if there is not. In the meantime I'm sure you'll continue wheel out the same messages several times a day to try to bludgeon everybody into either boredom or submission. Personally I'm going for boredom.
"So it’s all getting very close now, time to get them calculations out again I would say 🚀"
I wouldn't, as it is clear to me from the PRN that they are not very close to anything. Given the problems they've encountered in the PRN, the fact they said they were in 'early-stage exploratory discussions' that were 'the first steps towards entering into commercial and technical negotiations' and that they seem to have switched focus to the much less inspiring method C makes me think it is months at least before any solid, positive news is forthcoming - if at all.
Also surely they wouldn't have bothered with that PRN if 'substantive' news was only days or weeks away?
So my prediction, as it was before Christmas, is that if there is any definitive breakthrough then it won't be for many months yet.
Of course Zolander but the real question is whether there will ever be such substantive news. The potential is not in doubt, it's the fulfilling of it that is.
