I think ARB cash breakeven is closer to around $4m a month so not quite as bad, but I don't think they'll be mining any more than 50 BTC per month post-halving. Whichever way you look at it though their demise seems more a case of 'when' not 'if'.
"So AIM, Hex and brew. What are you hoping for. To spend this amount of time on this board."
Garwool - I average about two posts a day. Hardly prolific.
Besides, you said you had filtered me as I was a 'waste of space' so why are you bothering to talk to someone whose posts you think have nothing worth reading and that you decided to block out anyway. Bizarre.
And if you are going to respond it would be good if you could actually bother to try to counter the points I raise rather than just resort to the tiresome attacks and the lazy, repeated question of 'why do you post here' which has been answered many times already, by me and by others.
"This is from the last placing and there is zero reason to think differently."
Really?
Not "The porting of Method A and Method B onto commercial rigs has proven to be very challenging."?
Not the focus in the PRN on the underwhelming Method C rather than the much more exciting Method B?
Not "The Company has, over the past nine months, entered into EARLY-STAGE EXPLORATORY DISCUSSIONS, under Non-Disclosure Agreements (“NDA”), with two large mining rig manufacturers in China and North America and with two of the largest US Bitcoin mining companies. The board BELIEVES that these discussions represent the FIRST steps TOWARDS ENTERING into commercial and technical NEGOTIATIONS with the largest players in both the Bitcoin mining market and in the Bitcoin mining rig manufacturing industry"? Things sound a long way off to me from that.
Not all the supposed activity of lawyers, which if true will certainly help drain the £2m?
Not the development of a 'proprietary ASIC chip' purely to help with testing which means more delay and more cost?
You are clearly reading a different PRN and watching a different video ('smile' and all) than me.
For goodness sake Jambone the update was poor, just deal with it rather than trying to latch on to supposed 'snippets'. The sp crashed after its release and that should tell you everything. Those posting negatively just saw the RNS for what is was - a rambling exercise in deflection and a few crumbs thrown in to try to keep the devoted interested.
As for news coming soon, you don't release a 'War and Peace' PRN if really groundbreaking news is just around the corner so don't expect anything like that, if at all, for at least a month (or probably two).
It's only just past 9am and donotpanic has already made another four vacuous ramping predictions that won't come true. If it's not panic then it's at least desperation. It's all got very tiring so I'll take MrTosh's advice of employing the filter button.
He did indeed say that but it appears very inconsistent with the rest of video which talks about delays, that they are still testing and the apparent shift in focus to the much less impactful Method C.
Also I would be disappointed if they were still concentrating on Blockscale rigs as surely the intel chip will be obsolete in a few years as it's been discontinued?
"and significant depreciation and amortization will weigh heavily t but hopefully for the last time".
That's not how these work. I'm not sure they will weigh that heavily but one thing that can be pretty sure of is whatever they are they will weigh at least as heavily next year and the year after and...
"Than formulate your own opinion from research of the RNSs. Anyone else's opinion is worth nothing except giving a false sense of security."
What else is a BB for then if not for asking and giving opinions. If we all just make up our mind frok our research without considering anybody else's views, or sharing our own, then there is no need for a BB at all or for anybody to be on it (though it possibly explains why you filter everybody who doesn't share your own views).
"Unlike you and potentially others I'm invested till the end."
We all are. We just have a different 'end' in mind. Presumably you intend to sell at some point and that will be before others have sold - will that mean you haven't invested till 'the end'.
Do you mean until the deals arrive, or until the revenue starts or until the company is profitable or (alternatively) they go bust trying?
I initially thought that too Will, that the exploratory talks might just refer to Method C because of the ordering but the wording below describes these as having taking place over nine months and appears under the general heading 'Business Developments' so makes it pretty clear (to me anyway) that it includes methods A and B too. 'Early-stage' and 'first steps' makes any revenue seem a long way off.
"The Company has, over the past nine months, entered into early-stage exploratory discussions, under Non-Disclosure Agreements (“NDA”), with two large mining rig manufacturers in China and North America and with two of the largest US Bitcoin mining companies. The board believes that these discussions represent the first steps towards entering into commercial and technical negotiations with the largest players in both the Bitcoin mining market and in the Bitcoin mining rig manufacturing industry."
"The real question here, do we still believe in his comments * funded until revenue *"
Personally no - but then I didn't before. Just seems even more unlikely now with the delays they've admitted and spending money on other developments too.
I said delivery. To be clear by that I mean a final product delivered to market.
We now have them leading with Method C even though it appears far inferior to method B and they are also now talking about developing its own chip - but only for further testing not mining. They may have made progress but even there absolutely none of it has been evidenced and so we can only go by what they say - and, judging by the amount of backtracking, none of it should be taken too literally.
"You're exactly the sort of punter FG relies on Phil."
And the sort I'm relying on in order to exit at breakeven. There seem to be a lot of them on this board but I need 1.7p now - and to think I may have got that earlier this week! My bad. I don't think all the ramping in the world will get this to 1.7p anytime soon though and I don't expect any more news for at least a couple of months so will probably end up settling for less and moving on.
