Hi munch yes I’m still here, baffled this is what I am, Nigeria crying out for energy output, I guess the final funding is not too far away, NPDC confirmed they are working with Seplat on a splitting refinery reported on the website owler recently, I hope things start to move soon, I see also some non exects have been added to the board which looks promising. Doom do you know when the $400 million has to be paid back by? As always we hold and wait !! Regards H.
Puzzling Nigerian stock market quotes 370 Naira to buy Seplat shares, that represents 73p therefore why are we sat at 51p, or am I missing something? Surely news xpected soon wth significant interest in anoh for investment and Nigeria’s current energy shortage it’s a no brainier to get things moving. Comments anyone regards H.
Anyone got any ideas on these bizarre buys, second lot in large amounts in a attempt of weeks, but trading price is 10p higher than current figure. Regards H.
A good watch sepl featured on lse giving the company good coverage this morning......... come on sepl get that funding sorted and focus on generating that cash. The new boss seems to know what he has to do, so welcome sir, may you take this to the next level.
So I’m hopeful this is a good sign then doom, well time will tell your thoughts doom on this are.... ...
Munch yeah all ok here, still working, hoping to get away very soon. If eland were still around I guess the shares maybe around the 50p mark myself. I did some scenarios with sepl at on paper lately and figured out that they diversify with eland purely because of the undiscovered resources still untouched in some of there licenses, also the added bonus of 18k bopd currently being achieved to date and with the shallow low cost oil extraction it was a no brainier for seplat to me. They also have a cash kickback by 2024 I think which isn’t to be sniffed at. Seplats game changer will be the anoh gas plant which currently we as shareholders are waiting to hear news about the anoh gas plant funding to me this will be a game changer for the company, along with the generous divi it’s not a bad little producer. The Nigerian government are very keen to get the countries power grid up and running so hopefully we we get some sort of positive news on Wednesday. As for a take over if it ever happens minimum for me is £3.00 because of its licenses and potential as a producer. As always good luck munch regards H.
Well I have just spotted half year results are due to be published 29th July, hopefully we can get a indication of how the company is performing.
Munch I applaud your enthusiasm but may I point out Seplat bought eland for £1.66 so your guide to me is way under what I would value the shares at if there ever was a takeover. To me we are waiting on stability in the market and the long awaited funding news for anoh. We know Seplat are still pumping and supplying gas at steady rates, so patients is key. Regards h.
Doom this has got to move soon, a know it’s a move on news share but patiently waiting for the funding news on anoh, any thoughts yourself? Regards H.
Interesting read, to me the gas supply chain in Nigeria is woefully Short, I’m certain that the Nigerian government as a whole is very keen on encouraging energy companies to come in and set up supplies and outlets to me this is why the anoh project is critical And I feel confident that sepl will be granted the funding backed by the huge demand and potential the Nigerian energy market lacks, a bold statement but surely this makes perfect sense to me. Thoughts anyone ? Regards H. https://businessday.ng/energy/power/article/boosting-power-supply-in-an-era-of-gas-disruptions/
Munch yes it tested 62p today and bounced back down unfortunately, but there’s time yet, killer a risky but truely undervalued share atm is hur hurricane oil, it has its woes but soo much upside, either go bust or be a 300% riser, again rre to me has already bolted, tlw, ujo,Pmo and Panr worth a look but as always dyor please.
Killer, if you can only buy a small amount to me it seems that there may be a large buy order that is currently being filled, or the market makers know that these shares are still very cheap here so there holding on to them, either way it’s a good thing if you are currently holding. Hopefully if it follows these gains we may see late 60s by Friday close.
Had every faith lol, nice though ?? roll on 70s
Killer that maybe because the mms are holding on to what they have and starting to apply pressure to the price. Hopefully wi5h oil still gaining with a little positive news this will head north quicker then people think.
Impossible buy ??
Munch hopefully someone will answer our plea, if there is ever a bid / takeover which I very much doubt these will be worth around the £3 mark, bear in mind they paid £1.65 for eland and there reserves, this hopefully will unfold in time, till then I will keep holding and adding when I can. Have a great weekend regards H.
Morning everyone, for the life of me I can’t see why this share is so low, the potential in new gas revenues and hedged oil @$45 per barrel for most of the year sees continued revenue coming in so why is this share still so cheap. I was hoping the agm yesterday would shed some light on things but nothing. Any ideas on where this is going would be a blessing. Cheers H.
Thanks for the recent post, the artical was quite a eye opener, I would like to add that yes I agree there is a issue with small groups within the delta but from what I had understood from Seplat as a company was the fundamental figure of helping and providing the local community with schemes , funds and employment within the delta regions. From memory Seplat are very keen to employ a local workforce ploughing the revenues and profits from the oil revenues back to grass level roots. There are some very good articles on youtube of this and definitely worth a watch. I still say the stumbling block here is the decision on funding on the anoh gas project. Patients is the key here. Regards H.
Doom just a standard share account with hsbc, nothing special,I’m assuming they will deduct this from source as you had mentioned so I’m guessing I don’t need to bother with forms etc. As my holding is not massive. Must admit first time I have ever come across this, plenty of trades this morning looks like someone is hoovering up the shares today, we shall see ......
Doom in a nutshell do we have to fill any forms out or just leave it and the divi will be paid anyway, cheers H.
