Maybe it's a bit too early but imo we can see the beginning of a new trend.

It's been on my radar for awhile. Finally I bought some yesterday and topped up today just before this big rise. Imo it's just the beginning for the reasons you've already mentioned.

I would be nice find out their real cash position vs. debts and expenditures. It could give a clue what we can expect further.

Although comparing what we know from the company's announcements to today's OMI's market cap thinking logically it's hard not to agree with you nevertheless we can't forget that it's a stock exchange and something like "cheap" shares and a "bottom price" simply doesn't exist (unless it's 0p). As I stated before I am invested here with a relatively small amount (just in case) cause the sentiment may change from day to day and then I can see a quick recovery to "teens" within one or two days. So far however the sentiment is unfortunately negative and we never know what tomorrow brings. GL

Dropping again on £725.00 sell. Very odd. Looks like OMI doesn't belong to Mms favorite ones.

We're holding quite well today, nevertheless being impartial I wonder where is that small rise from on no trades? Anyway we should find out on or after close.

I fully agree with you regarding OMI's fundamentals vs. its sp. Nevertheless we can't forget that this is just the market where a share's sp is "a consensus between buyers and sellers" hugely dependent on the market sentiment towards a given stock, its "popularity" etc. We can't forget that in case of lack of interest a share's sp is susceptible to drop on its own up until the moment when it gets noticed by a certain number of PIs as well undervalued and starts moving north. Then it's just a snowball effect with a "crowd" joining the party. I am invested here with a small amount so far (just in case) but still waiting on the sidelines for a signal to jump in "more seriously". Hopefully it won't take long. GLA

It really has a great potential for recovery. Yesterdays upgrade was very positive. Broker's rating @42p may come true sooner than we think especially that gold started moving north.
