In SaaS, the average churn rate is around 5%, and a “good” churn rate is considered 3% or less.

Darktrace reported a customer churn rate of 7 to 8 per cent.

So yes it’s slightly higher but only slightly, certainly not “high”

Where are the poor churn rates?

The Group also delivered strong results in its constant currency Annualized Recurring Revenue (ARR). At its FY 2021 constant currency rates, Darktrace expects ARR at 30th June 2021 of at least $340 million, which represents year-over-year growth in constant currency ARR of at least 44%. Darktrace also reports that its one-year gross ARR churn and net ARR retention rate have remained in the range of recent reported periods.

BOO has been there many times (& given me the most) ASOS is there just waiting to settle, PFC, LAM, PETS etc have been many others in the last 12-18 months.

Once BTC recovers there will be many recovery stocks off the back of that

Once travel & leisure really gets back to normal there will be many recovery stocks there incl Oil stocks

I don’t get them all right but it’s a great place to start looking at good brands oversold

At the end of the day

- none of us really know if it’s going up or down
- we are all here to ultimately make money

With all the hate in the world why don’t we all succeed together

It’s healthy to have opposing & changing views but the obsession with how many shares people hold & they should by more as a 100 bagger isn’t responsible investment advice

I only get personal in defence of a personal attack otherwise positing positive & negative news, events etc is all healthy for debate

More than Doubled my money in DARK so far & flying up today so markets are not totally as you say & BWNG going up in same sector as BOO - ASOS & BOO getting hit for other reasons

For what it’s worth, I do think it’s oversold as is ASOS

Yeah that is odd considering it was after RNS
Think there is just general market caution of inflation, 3rd wave, twenty something spending, competition from Shien & Amazon, Brexit issues, US shipping, returns etc but as with everything it will sort itself out in time

PP1 you also told everyone that @ 341.70 it was a 100 bagger so I presume at the bargain price of 268.50 you’ve bought more? As it’s 21% cheaper it’s now a 127 bagger right?

To which I’d say if you hold 0 shares you have a more balanced opinion of somebody supposedly holding 360,000 shares who’s lost half a million

I currently don’t own BOO shares but have held @ sold 5 times in last 18 months

I might buy again & the BB is for anyone considering buying, selling or holding or even comparing to other similar shares

Saying you own none, 100,000 shares etc is just smoke as faceless strangers can say what they like

Yep 3685 going might cause a sudden dip but don’t be shy if it does as I personally missed the last 2 - it will come good in time
