Shows clearly how they will move production up 3 fold in 12 months from 1000 boepd to 3000 boepd. Net backs in Colombia ar $83.70 in March. Payback on the current set of wells is 3 months on 360bopd of production.
Producing cash now. This will turn into a cash machine over the next 12 months. It will re-rate and re-rate.
Over an 80% COS on these wells
This will trade back up to 1.5p before you know it. Rock solid placing. Production just around the corner.
I see this going two ways.
An asset sale at 1.75-2.25p ish and we get a fat juicy special dividend of 1p a share
or a fantastic income stock that will be paying us fat dividends for years to come.
Happy either way
Did some digging; It went to two of the biggest share holders and they are not selling so no overhang.
Anyone know exactly what this is at the moment. Always good to work out the maths when a company is on the cusp of going into production.
ty in advance
I think this is better for share holders. Sound's acquisition would have been a paper deal. Did you want SOUND stock?
It's so close to production now and bringing in great revenues and there is still the possibility of a sale at asset level
How many tonnes in each shipment?
2.5m profit for each shipment...of which 27% is due to KDNC?
Do we have any shipping costs? i.e trying to figure net income to KDNC and over what period will they ship this ore?
now that was useful ty
that was useful....
1.25m tonnes
27% net to KDNC
what does it sell for?
Even the trolls have given up.....LOL
We'll have our turn in the sun one day. In the mean time Tema and Sierra Leone are bringing in decent revenues and they are fulfilling that tech contract. Hopefully...one of those many irons in the fire will come good. It's bloody boring and frustrating waiting but that is part and parcel with investing. One day one day...
today.
all the investments going up and the commodities behind them, 20% under placing price, opportunity it seems.

decent summation here
I believe Maersk Voyager is in the midst of re-supply and maybe a crew change before it heads back out to drill either an appraisal or new prospect on the block.
Venus discovery is the biggest world wide for many a year.
3B/4B is directly analogous and will be drilled next year....suspect they will be inundated with offers to partner/fund that well
It's an excellent piece of business, gaining full exposure to a second block off shore Guyana which Exxon is going to drill multiple exploration wells; Huge amount of sunk costs have gone into this block already from. seismic and drilling, v valuable data.
And what a fabulous cash bonus...$15.7m into the kitty which pays for the Gazzania well in H2....no placing required.
Now have exposure to 4/5 wells over the next 20 months or so.
Has any junior got a better set of O&G Exploration assets?
2 blocks off shore Guyana, 2 off shore S Africa, 4 off shore Namibia. All worked up with 50-100m $ spent on seismics and interpretation . Multiple drill ready prospects.
Now we have the Venus and Graff discoveries, we have multiple majors all over us wanting a piece of the action. I expect to see a lot more M&A activity
Looks like the nuclear deal will be signed in the next few days. If so, that 24m p/a contract could be back on https://polaris.brighterir.com/public/westminster_group_plc/news/rns/story/rm56j9w
Great to see all the familiar faces here, all wasting their life away
