been keeping track of the ship volumes going through Tema lately? From memory we are on about 1 million TEUs a year now which is excellent. Fourth berth will be up and running by the end of the year. This will give them the capacity to process 3.5 million TEUs per annum. Should give WSG steady organic growth over the coming years and plenty of high margin dollars to the bottom line
What was always made clear to me is the 'added benefit' that training brings to the company.
Namely, they can 'up-sell' other parts of their business i.e. technology and managed services. They are selling these training services to key decision makers at airports, ports and governments. Great and simple way to add to their rolodex of key contacts, develop relationships that can lead to bigger and more profitable contracts.
Agree there Max. Just emphasises what they have been doing all year and explains why they have been so successful. They have developed this Training business over several years, been accredited by all the key bodies, signed JVs with multiple partners worldwide. Adapting to Covid constraints now and still delivering a service and securing revenue.
think you need to check your facts 3putt!!!
'WSG has demonstrably weathered the COVID-19 pandemic very well so far, with its multiple revenue streams and diverse range of clients around the world. Past experiences enabled management to steer the Company towards opportunities for growth during the early stages of the pandemic lockdown resulting in a number of new opportunities for the business in both divisions. This underscores our belief that WSG is well positioned to take advantage of potentially transformational growth opportunities presented in its target markets.'

An excellent set of results. Well played to them this year. A maiden profit, cash generating during Covid...remarkable.
'we have an opportunity to build on our current achievements and our year on year growth, with the potential for step changes in revenues from the many prospects we are pursuing'
Lots more to come here. More MSCs and some nice chunky Saudi business by year end..
Expecting great things from Saudi. JV ing with local partners , Crown Prince's Uncle is their partner. Airports and ports and infrastructure and Aramco being privatised. All sorts of business can be and will be done...just a matter of time
It sure is. Craig Brown has been flagging up a JV with a major for some time.... it will fly on that news
Think about Tema like this.
Is it better to have £10m revenues with 20% margins or £3/4m revenues with 80% margins?
last week! none of us are selling as it is going to go much higher
Are you try to say that two faced twat is a liar?
What folk have failed to realise is the amount of EBITDA each on of the pellet plants will produce.
Not only that but the deal with N+P is worldwide on waste to energy projects.
If/when they do a deal with a data room company to take Uskmouths clean energy this will also add 50% at least to revenues
I also see O&G companies circling companies like SAE in the future as they look for investments to off set all their carbon production. Think they will get bought one day by a BP or SHELL
why did the SP pop to 3.7p on the 9/10/13th of July?
Phoebus...??? Not your finest moment!!!
All quiet here today......Nurse must have been round
could you flesh that out a wee more please?
bye bye
gather there has been a seller here for a while but they are now out...should begin to move on any volume
The webinar was wooden, particularly the Q&A. Scripted and read out answers do not come across well.
Would have been much better live.
It was the first time they had done anything like this. All three are 60 odd...old dog and new tricks etc.
Hopefully they will have learnt.
The key point is the company is doing fine...everything else is peripheral
