Extraordinary array of Covid H&S kit available on the Westminster website these days. Seem to be focussing heavily on sanitisation .
is a long term tech investor. He first invested in Vela back in 2015.....he has more than doubled his position in the latest fund raise
James '70 bagger' Norman is the man in charge here. If he repeats 1/7 of that success again I will be dead chuffed
into the close. Good to see. Don't think it means news as WSG has never been leaky
Very excited to see the results on 201. For a microcap like this any decent looking data and it will really move the price along
looks like that dip is being bought up, bodes well
Agree with that Panza. Think they are woefully under valued at these levels. Difficult for them to sign an MSC at the moment with travel restrictions but they should have had plenty of opportunities to make progress with clients on line. We could see a JV deal with Menzies before too long.
two blocks co applied for with Shell, great to see
dreadful website that one...amazing it sucks any readers in. Simply garbage st.
just keeps looking better and better . Very happy share holder here. Think we see 50p plus in Q1 2021 on financial close. Numerous kickers on the way between now and then. The debt funding agreement with the Korean funder was a real surprise.
I can assure you Panza is not DHC. I would happily break bread and drink ale with Panza....DHC.....would have to really get over a deep loathing before chucking him a life belt if I saw him struggling in water...
If they farm down some equity it will be at a much higher price than that old deal. They have moved the project and the financials much further forward since then. Further to go here...listen to the interview
The pellet plants will be debt funded
Real investment opportunity here. Think these pellets and coal fired power station conversion goes worldwide, hence why the Koreans want involvement. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see some heads of terms JV materialise re Korea before the end of the year
Even if Trump loses it will take years to restore relations with Iran. America broke their word and the Iranians don't trust them. So, unless sanctions are removed from Iran v quickly next year following a Biden victory, I can't see Iran happening for at least 2/3 years so a no o from me.
The key issue is quarantine. You can't pop back and forth to potential MSC customers for face to face negotiations. Until this eases one way or another, I think it will be difficult to sign off on any new airport MSC. There are also a lack of people flying so it makes WSG's business proposition , based on numbers flying, un economic at the moment unless they come up with some higher costs per passenger until the numbers grow.
I see the first major contracts coming out of Saudi Arabia. We have an office there, a JV partner and a government in a hurry to privatise vast swathes of their economy. There are multiple opportunities there.
In the mean time, they are trading profitably , have adapted to the times very swiftly. Just got to try and be patient.
Intrigued with their relationship with Menzies and the use of sanitisation products and fever detection at airports. I suspect this will be formalised and RNSd as a JV of some sort with some business lined up before too long.
With a urge in cases across the world, with Whittey suggesting no vaccines til next year, with holiday destinations being closed down again one by one, with government determined to get kids back to school and the city back to work, companies who were sitting on their hands re. Covid tech will have to start spending some money.
I think it will sharpen the minds of airport executives even more. I suspect the first significant contract we will see is a formalisation of a WSG/Menzies partnership and the announcement of some initial business.
Morphing into the go to West African hub. Efficient, well run, good internal road links, capable of handling 3.5m TEUs per annum by the end of the year. Doing about 1 million p/a at the moment. It's going to grow steadily to fill that gap. Every container puts bucks on the bottom line.
Thanks Humanbait, good to have that at the back of the brain come results time
Not sure about that Humanbait. Might be worth emailing Mark Hughes .
Agree Panza, just is bit under the radar and a wee bit unloved by the market. Fundamentals are the best ever in the company's history and we have a dozen or so major irons in the fire that should see progress as Covid unwinds
Yet another tech contract in the good old US of A
https://www.wsg-corporate.com/news/fever-screening-for-york-county-police-force/
Remarkable that WSG keeps winning these contracts over local companies....well played tech team, kudos!
Good to see continued revenues and profits being generated.
Simply a way of communicating important information about the company to the market. 2/3 years ago when income was £3-5m...it might well have been deemed of sufficient value to be a plain RNS. Now the company is making £11-15m p/a it is not, hence it is an RNS reach................great to be a victim of ones own success!
