See an interesting twitter piece/ yesterday on Mara that if they paid $11k per S19xp they would never turn a profit on said machines if BTC was below 40k - Wonder if thats the reason they have been so slow to find the current rigs homes, Anyway of topic my point being if Argo want to be as Transparent as they say lets get the actual Mining cost out once and for all. The space needs someone to lead the way so PIs have all the facts as the others will have to follow,

Short term without a doubt, was expecting/hoping for another run May/June which looks impossible now, Long term still favour the bull side strongly as adaption increases, As for buying much like AB ill increase along the way as and when funds allow, Im also hoping these current levels are the Ying to the £2.40s Yang but we shall see on that.

Out of all the Twitter influencers I’ve founds Cheds to be the most straight up ( No doubt plays his own book too but not to the same degree as most of them) in my view, He seems to be looking around the 25k range pre bounce, He’s been pretty much bang on the past 6 months or so - So wouldn’t be at all surprised if we visit that number for how long again not a clue,

Yes it’s a concern that profits will be eaten into the lower Btc goes but on the flip side the lower energy costs and the more efficient Intel chips (Proof in the pudding) will help offset that you would hope, Again with my positive head on If that comes to pass they should pretty much rank in the top 3 for mining costs if it does not it will be a case of keeping there heads above water until the sentiment turns - Id imagine that would delay anymore expansion at Helios - I’m not one for Btc predictions but I’d be surprised if it heads much lower for a sustained period of time then again wtfdik when it comes to Btc predictions :)

I tend to agree but if numbers suddenly double wouldn’t that tend to offset what needs to be sold and what can then be added to the kitty during the bear cycle - Looking at the last few months it tends to suggest around 150/180 needing to be sold (I don’t know if they are also selling some for future expansion) but if they suddenly start mining 300-350 the excess then is Hodl

Think Seb forecast between 125k and 150k from memory in this cycle so that probably had some bearing on the decisions made.

Think I’ll be holding a heavy bag in Riot for the foreseeable! No idea but it ain’t stopping dropping - See the smoke signals stateside that Mara maybe up for selling some of the miners that they’ve not managed to get online - Not sure on its truth but stocktwits posters seem to be spreading it - Do you know if Thiel has Said something along those lines as can’t find anything online ?
