I appreciate that this chat board should be about PRD so please excuse the following question:

I know who Malcy is, I know who Doc Holiday is, but does anybody here know the actual identity of Oil Man Jim?

Ps - There is debate on this chat board during December 2022 about the fact that the Sportslocker site and the LiveScores site at the tme were of the the same format.

I believe the common thread with "SportsLocker" and "We Are" is Tim Scoffham - extracts from MOS RNS 11th Feb, 2022:

A week a go we had testing news on the horizon, now we have both a potential MOU and testing news to look forward to.

Good morning Madman-Rob, I agree with 95% of your post but based upon yesterdays RNS I am thinking the first piece of news will be that a MOU has been agreed.

With regard to timing that is "how long is a piece of string", however my instinct tells me it may not be that far away.

Well, a fairly well known poster on twitter is adding, see below:

"I've added heavily this morning despite being a bit miffed by the communications"

"I see PRD as the next GKP and its a case of when not if"

Weloilbeefhooked - PG has given a reason for the change in plan, i.e.

"potential Memorandum of Understanding for gas sales. Our preference is for commercial reasons to have this in place before testing commences and we are working to finalise this as soon as possible."

Now I would agree we don't know precisely the meaning of this but I suspect it has evolved through the negotiations with the other party.

It could be that whoever PRD is negotiating the MOU with is to some extent calling the shots regarding testing, but that is not necessarily bad, it could mean things are progressing well.

I have been here a little while now but have not posted much to date.

Re reading the previous RNS's very carefully I do believe PRD fully intended to commence the testing in October as stated but something happened in the negotiations to change the strategy to getting the MOU over the line first.

I also think that possibly everything came at once with Trinidad reaching a conclusion and this may have slightly impacted on the progress in Morocco.

Perhaps the seller heard about the "Transformational news about to land"!!

Chesh - Sorry to disapoint you but even if the price of Oil was $150 per barrel Block would not be getting anywhere near the figure you quote for two reasons:

1) The GAS element of the 581 boepd will be sold for a much lesser figure than that obtained for the oil.

2) After subtracting the Gas the remaining oil has to be divided up between the State of Georgia,s share and Blocks share - Block only get to sell there share.
