What is fundamental to the company is producing enough oil and gas to make a profit.

Personally I thought the wording was fine and gave us a realistic view of where the company is today - if the initial income is modest the initial income is modest. That said, plenty of optimism for the coming weeks and months:

To enable us to accelerate growth we have appointed Richard Brinkman as Business Development Director (a non-Board role), and we look forward to developing the product and sales pipeline further."

Fuse7 - Don't disagree with what you say, that could very well be the reason they have sold because basically they need the money, or did they sell now because they did not see the shares rising in value in the future based upon their close association knowledge of Block Energy - I have an open mind, I do not know the answer.

Actually AJW if you check the order of posts you will find it was me that picked up on GOG / GOGC first so I think Phoenix and myself should share the "expert crown".
The important point is though - why have GOG sold all their remaining shares when prices are at an all time low - there are two possibilities:
1) They need the money
2) They know a lot more about Block Energy than we do - don't forget that PH used to work for GOG.

As usual Sea7 you are obviously correct, but the important point that Pheonix and myself were trying to get accross was that Georgian Oil and Gas Ltd did not sell there shares in Block Energy to fund the project as AJW suggested - absolutely nothing to do with them as far as I can gather.

AJW - have you got that right.
You say that Georgia Oil and Gas Ltd may have sold their remaining shares in Block Energy to fund a Gas Storage project.
I have looked at GOG's current work programme and can see no mention of a Gas Storage project.
I thought that the Underground Gas Storage Facility was a project by the state owned Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation - GOGC. - Please correct me if I am wrong.
Also, why would GOG sell their shares in Block Energy because Block are not buying more acreage from them - They hire their equipment from GOG - I do not follow your logic.
One thing is for sure, GOG will have more insight into what is happening with Block Energy in Georgia than any other shareholder and I find it rather telling that they are selling out when the share price is so low.

I once said prices might go up or down and they actually did.

Georgian Oil and Gas no longer appear on the list of significant shareholders - updated 2nd June

1. Tbilisi 97 and Rustavi 01 , probably the same person, are a spoof.

2. Not particularly valuable because as well as installing the EPF they still have to construct the gas pipeline between the WR38 site and the EPF site adjacent to WR16aZ before the gas is monetised.

Extract from RNS 17th April, 2019:

"Bago is expected to start purchasing the gas within eight weeks of signing of contracts."

If I remember correctly, contracts were signed in October, 2019 ?????????????????????????????????????????

I posted earlier this morning but it seems to have disappeared along with a lot of other posts - I will have another go:

I note on Linkedin that Richard Brinkman has been running his own Business Development Consultancy since Oct, 2019 (RB Business Development). I would suggest that is probable he has been providing Consultancy services to Mobile Streams during this time and he could very well already be in advanced negotiations with potential future clients, hence the reason to appoint him as a Director.
A bit of speculation and guesswork I know but seems plausible to me - DYOR
