I believe the 3 pillars were intended as a fall back prior to the Anxhoir results. They played the anchors result as far as the mkt would go. Char had neither the funds or structure to be operator as they were suggesting. The SP is due to the mkt realising that speculation based on exploration is not the same as the realities of development. The other party wants its fair share of the upside for their skill set, finance and risk. It’s unlikely Energean will be looking at a bigger development than the planned 1st phase development char we’re suggesting and likely they too will be looking to other partnerships.

Speculation by me. Was chariot ever going to be a gas operator / producer ? An investor maybe but never an operator as the cost to get there would not be economical. As quoted in the last webcast char are in the business of scalability.

Padfoot you state many LTH sentiment. I think the SP is fair value given BoD lack of following through. I struggle to see Char retaining their share of Lixus. Why woukd Energean need further Char input or to carry them going forward except for sonething like a 5-10% royalty. That’s why I suggest the sp is where it is.

It appears that char are now resurrecting their exploration play book in order to gain speculative SP enrichment. Cash from Lixus be very helpful.

AP said he couldn’t explain the weak SP… I can explain it to him if he asks me. Char failed to deliver on their development statements in earlier webcasts. The SP is a reflection of their credibility and mkt not believing they will deliver as outlined except further fund raising. The next one will likely needed to fund further partnering.. that’s all assumptions by me but reasonable based on history of char.

They signed the long awaited catalyst deal to partner off shore ti fast track development. AP said have to ask Energean on progress. But no worries there’s always Soc Gen… in the mean time we can amuse ourselves debating the cost of gas to the customer.

He was most upset, after all he had popped into chars offices and shared in a casual cuppa and chat. Anyway, 3 fund raises later and he was no longer seen here.
