I agree but I have managed to get probably the biggest ever holding I’ve had in a share, and the last two hours they would take the lot no danger with quote above ask? I’ve not seen that before. No intention of selling anyway. Maybe fomo after the weekend. News imminent!

Possibly!? Only once today have I failed to get a quote on a reasonably sized holding. Most times quote over the ask, they will take the lot. Not that I am going to sell. Hope it’s a sign of things to come.

Just bought in after a few weeks of watching on sides. Presentation looked promising. Long term hold for me. My buy showing as a sell, spread a bit skewed. Good luck all

My 3 year old daughter had classic symptoms last week. We all went to Haydock Park Racecourse for a test which although was thankfully negative, was an awful experience. Kept thinking (whilst sticking a swab up my young daughters nose and throat) if only there was a simple saliva based home test I could do. I’d buy 10. Simply game changing. Have a good weekend all.

My wife works in the NHS and her whole team (20 ish nurses, physios, consultants) had their antibody results tests back today. Surprisingly all came back clear. But what does that say? Considering these guys are front line and most at risk for me it shows that still a very low amount of population have had this disease. We cannot rely on herd immunity. I don’t think we can rely on a vaccine either as if it comes it will take a very long time to get out to those who need it. As much as I’d love this to go away, it really isn’t. There will be a 2nd wave soon and a fresh wave in the winter. Testing will be needed for months, years to come in my opinion. As sir al says, if we are successful with the LFT, the revenue streams will be unquantifiable. Bottom drawer for me these shares. It’s a no brainer. All in my opinion.

Nervous and wondering if this new test will have an impact on Avacta, the news broke 24 hours ago and we followed that with a great day. The market has already digested this in my opinion.

Secondly it needs medical assistance and equipment to carry out the test.

Thirdly, if the government will order 10m straight off the bat (at probably much higher cost than LFT) imagine how many of Avacta they will buy. As well as many other governments around the world, businesses, public etc etc.... wow!

Well done to them. But Avacta will be the real game changer. Not long to wait.

this distribution agreement, to me this RNS shows they are extremely confident the test will reach market. The margin on POC tests direct to consumers will be significant of which Sir Al has stated there will be a requirement for “hundreds of millions”. Imagine what that will do to Avacta market cap alone. Aside from this agreement many governments will purchase in vast amounts and distribution to business is non exclusive. This is just one of many avenues Avacta can explore.

I remember a week or two ago people were hoping that Avacta would be able to distribute to end user / consumer for a bigger slice...... well ..... there you go, in black and white.

Given that Cytiva already have a number of Avacta’s Affirmers, I really wouldn’t be surprised to see a partnership announcement in the not too distant future also stating that work to develop the preventer has already commenced.

Was the circa 2mil trade a buy or sell? For me it’s either a massive buy from someone in the know, or a large amount of placing shares out the way? Thoughts?

I had a small punt on Friday mainly due to boredom and the iratic sp movement. However, after researching the co over the weekend, I�m very tempted to buy a bigger stake tomorrow should I manage to get a good position. Very interesting co with what looks like huge potential.

There was only one rns at 12p stating a duster, does anyone think it would of been his as hard? The sp has been hit twice. 30% then 70%. I'm not a holder here, but very tempted. I'm thinking 70% off 12p for a duster is approx 3.6. I'm relatively new to this game I'll admit so please correct me if you think I'm talking tripe! In my opinion this is oversold. If I wasn't tied up in other stocks I'd dip my toe in for long term. See how things pan out over the next few days / weeks.
