Respect Snowman. I too have been slowly acquiring since about the same time, although my average is a little higher. Looks like we are on the final straight, just not too sure how long before the finishing line. Encouraged by those chunky buys from the bell this morning.

Your assumptions are a little wide of the mark. Remember you can always sell your AMC shares at any time along the journey for the price at the time (stating the obvious yes, but bear with me!!). If the "current offer" for the sale of the subsidiary were to proceed AMC would receive say £100m. All things being equal, this would inflate the share price of AMC to somewhere near 7p. You could then sell your AMC shares. However and I believe this is very important with regard to the current shenanigans, the current share price has not breached 4p yet. Normally you would expect the sp on news of a bid to be much closer to the take out price, unless, there is a serious doubt about the transaction taking place and this is what is intriguing about the current state of play. As always and forever with AMC nothing is obvious and straightforward.

Well, this would suggest another fund raise necessary over the next 12 months. This would usually imply forthcoming share price weakness until the raise is achieved. But, we do get the opportunity of participating. As you were..........snoooore

I am a new poster here having bought in last week, and contemplating adding further. This BB seems to be hogged by LB with very few other contributors. Are they a serious investor or do they have a gripe against FUM? (i.e. should they be filtered before I start posting) I always think it is helpful to have a little bit of knowledge about posters given that they can often determine the tenor of the postings, and, either for better or worse will influence private investors. The mathematics tell you that at the very point of the allocation/share split of your shareholding between President and Atome, your total shareholding will be worth EXACTLY the same as it does at the time the split is announced. Thereafter it will move. The logic tells you that providing the market likes Atome thereafter we should see a strong capital uplift. Perhaps even in time for christmas!!!

The announcement regarding the share split allocation of Atome shares will follow AFTER the Meeting to approve the resolutions. At any rate well before the year end. This really should be a positive for all PPC shareholders. Green energy is the way forward whether we personally agree with the principles or not and it is encouraging that PPC are pointing in that direction in (hopefully) a value added way.

The only additional comment perhaps worth making is that you might find the shares suspended temporarily while the in specie takes place, in order to allow an orderly market at the time for both the President and Atome shares.

If you don't own PPC shares on the ex date, you will not get the Atome "freebies". Simples.
