Why can't you accept that it is perfectly possible and reasonable for people not to do what you want? Your immediate response to someone refusing to do what you should not be to start making threats against them and attempting to blacken their name. Ask around, a lot of people know about your MO and they don't like it. I suggest you get some help.

So if Noel Lyons succeeds in raising money to take Karoo Energy up to AIM from NEX, exactly how will he manage Mayan from Botswana? Won't he became bit busy exploiting 160k square kilometres of shale gas resource whilst building power plants for the whole of Southern Africa?

Perhaps if you were a US oil & gas lawyer, like the chairman of the company, and were familiar with the statement of facts you might have a better idea.

The standard thing in the US is to claim $100mil and that they other side stole your wife and children. Normally these things end up in a negotiated settlement. Going to court suits no one, it is expensive and the risk of losing is too much.

Ideally, whatever the issue is or was it should have been addressed months ago, a deal agreed and the wells back online.

Cleansed means no longer in possession of inside information. All companies are required to maintain an insider list under the MAR.

I can't give advice and you shouldn't seek it on here. The best thing to do, is do your own research and form your own view.

1. I hold and have not traded.
2. I won't be selling at this price. I will be buying but probably in a couple of weeks.
3. One measure is called the break up value: if we could sell the underlying assets and distribute the cash what would we get? If you look at it, break up value is probably something like 60%/80% of market capitalisation. Which means the "hope" value or goodwill isn't much.
4. Another way to look at it is, is the company cashflow positive? If not what does it have to do to get to cashflow positive? Well in my view not much.
5. I am not in favour of a 2% shareholder with an agenda forcing unsuitable board members on Mayan. The Chairman's statement this morning was pretty clear and I support it. Noel Lyons is a nice chap but if he raises money for Karoo he will be in South Africa and won't have time for Mayan.
